Siemens Energy is one of the most undervalued industrial stocks in Europe. They are one of the giants of energy trading with huge upside in the coming years. Why aren't more people taking the Siemens pill?
I have Bosch and Siemens products with home connect. It would be nice to get a shout out on my google nest speaker (or even sonos?) when the washer or dryer in the basement is done with a program. Is this possible without third party hardware?
Looking for some opinions on Siemens AG.
I personally love working with their products (automation), and where I'm from their PLC's are the industrial standard. Anything else is usually a pain to work with.
They partner up with a lot of schools and educational programs too.
But that's just one branch and they appear to have many (multiconglomerate).
Not sure if they're that well known outside of Western Europe though.
Any juicy scandals or evil underground lairs I'm not aware of?

I have done the SMSCP lv1 by an authorised outlet and the content was good, course exam was OK.
I have a chance to attend the courses 1-3 some stage this year is it worth my time and cost, they are 2.5k gbp.

I have PLC experience with ABB PLCs which were either using proprietary software or are now using software based on Codesys.
I'm trying to learn the S7 system (starting with S7-300 and S7-400 and simatic manager) but they are quite different from Codesys in their programming concepts.
Are there any good online resources that will start from the basics, like what those OB1 etc. are, the DBs, memory organization etc?
Any reccomendations on the best comprehensive method to learn the Siemens NX CAD software?
YouTube, virtual course, digital guide, etc. are all welcome!

für einen Neubau planen wir derzeit eine Küche. Die Küchengeräte werden von Siemens sein. Wir haben uns in den meisten Fällen für die iQ300 oder iQ500 Variante der Geräte entschieden. Keines der Geräte hat bisher die Fähigkeit über HomeConnect per WLAN steuerbar zu sein (bewusst vermieden), aber eine gewisse Spülmaschine mit weiteren Vorteilen hat diese Fähigkeit ( SN63H800UE ).
Mir kommt das ziemlich nutzlos vor. Ich habe an anderer Stelle einige smarte Steckdosen mit Messfunktion im Einsatz, aber mir will für die Spülmaschine einfach keine Anwendung einfallen die mir das Leben erleichtert.
Hat jemand HomeConnect im Einsatz und kann mir eine Anwendung nennen? Muss nicht mal tatsächlich genutzt sein. Mich interessiert was überhaupt möglich ist. Welche Daten meiner Spülmaschine kann ich denn einsehen?
