A list of puns related to "Siemens and Halske T52"
Hey everyone. I have been enjoying a lot of drew estates cigars. I have been wanting to try the no9 and t52 but am having trouble finding them both in stock at the same place. Anyone have any leads? Preferably one of the Corona sizes.
I'm new around here and just recently dove back into cigars after a 10+ year hiatus. As I dipped my toes back in, I started exploring smaller smokes with an emphasis on value (Liga coronets, Arturo Fuente Exquisitos, etc.). The first tin of Liga T52 coronets from PipesandCigars were rich and flavorful and nicely balanced, especially for a $2 smoke. The wrappers were dark, thick, and almost glossy or sparkly. The construction wasn't pretty, but the smoking experience was really nice. I finished the tin of 10 fairly quickly and proceeded to order another, but this time from Fox.
I had the first smoke of this new tin last night and was very underwhelmed in comparison to my first experience. After inspecting the new cigars, I realized that they look fairly different, with a lighter and thinner wrapper. I also noticed that both tins had the tobacco warning on the front, but the second tin had an additional warning on the back (https://www.fda.gov/tobacco-products/labeling-and-warning-statements-tobacco-products/cigar-labeling-and-warning-statement-requirements). I think that this suggests that the first is an older tin. I don't know exactly when Drew Estate decided to make changes to the warnings on their tins, as the FDA established its warning label plan in 2016, but the rule has since been vacated in late 2020. It should also be noted that the Drew Estate sticker bar code (not the UPC) that likely designates manufacturing runs, is lower on the first tin. The first tin appears older, but by how much, I have no idea.
At the heart of my inquiry, I'm trying to understand how these cigars could be so different from one another, and just to express my surprise at the significant differences between the two. We will likely never know why, but here are some possible explanations:
Maybe this is all really just a testament to power of aging, but I thought it might make for an interesting discussion.
I think I'm going to have to order another tin from PipesandCigars and cross my fingers. I wish I had a photo of the first tin to compare with the second, but unfortunately my first tin is gone.

I don’t even like these damn things but I bought some for herfs. You’re welcome.
Does anyone have a second favorite to the Liga Number 9 or T52? They're hard to come by nowadays and they're always my go to. I'm looking for something with a similar profile but almost more importantly the same consistency and draw.
As per my research, I have concluded that these three are the best. But all three have positive and negative reviews. Which one do I go with? Are there any other ones that you suggest? What are your experiences?
