For my major, Iβm required to take STAT551A&B, but Iβm interested in taking Applied Probability as well. Would it be a waste of time for me to take it, for those who have done either class?

Seems like the meta has always been about siege weapons, first rams then springalds, now everyone can get imperial and spam bombards. I think we need a rework to make these weapons more fragile as a blob of siege weapons can not be stopped easy

Or did he think Horus was just corrupted but still had his own soul?
Lots of stories focus on the outnumbered defenders owing to sympathy with the underdogs and the tension over whether or not they can prevail. The Lord of the Rings portrays the Battle of Helm's Deep and the Siege of Gondor primarily with an eye towards the Free People's defense against the depredations of Isengard and Mordor. What stories place the heroic protagonists on the side of the attackers and the villainous antagonists as the defenders, while keeping tension high and maintaining sympathy for heroes and their cause?

I suppose you could call the interior a war room or meeting room or holoprojection room or something?
I'm asking because I'm working on a fan-fic that combines ROTS with SoM, and I want to make sure key things are accurate.
Is there any literary or cultural significance as to why the Trojan War lasted this long, or is the timeframe simply a way to convey "this was a very long and taxing war"?
Most of the campaigns I've started, particularly Mortal Empires ones, I dropped after getting bored of siege battles. It doesn't matter if i got bored after 5 or 50 or those, they were the main reason. So claustrophobia inducing. I fucking hated them. Especially if i played someone like Dwarfs, where some of my units couldn't reach their full potential. And minor settlements battles did not exist, so same as land battles. This wouldn't be that much of a problem if siege battles weren't majority of what you're fighting come mid/late game.
My sole wish for WH3 was to have more spacious settlement battles, and it seems I've got that. Granted, we will wait for combined map a bit longer which means playing OG races will have to wait a bit - but there's Kislev, which I'm looking forward to play the most.
Chinese tech stocks suffered their biggest drop in three weeks, with the outbreak one of the main reasons.
China's stock market dipped on Wednesday after Baidu (BIDU) and Bilibili (BILI) released quarterly results that did not allay fears about the impact of stringent managements imposed over the past year. When China's two largest e-commerce giants, Alibaba (BABA) and (JD), post quarterly results on Thursday morning, it will be clearer whether the fog of uncertainty is lifting.
Since the management began, the value of many Chinese equities has halved. For the time being, things do not appear to be getting any better. Baidu surpassed revenue and profit projections when it released quarterly results on Wednesday morning, owing to the strength of its cloud business. However, Baidu cautioned that in the following quarters, the pandemic would have an impact on ad sales.

CHINA STOCKS GET HAMMERED
Baidu's shares fell 5.5 percent today, closing at 161.82 on the stock exchange. Wednesday morning, Bilibili also reported. Its revenue and forecast both fell short of expectations. Bilibili's stock dropped 9% to 81.03. Alibaba slid 4.1 percent to 161.58 among other Chinese companies. JD's stock fell 3% to 83.15, while Vipshop's stock fell 2.8 percent to 12.23.
Pinduoduo also down 4.5 percent to 89.77, while Tencent Holdings (TCEHY) fell 0.6 percent to 64.23. Last week, Tencent, one of China's top online giants, released earnings. Tencent's profit increased by 3%, the slowest rate of growth in two years. It is one of China's largest messaging and gaming startups. New rules have hammered it on numerous fronts, including limits on how much time youngsters may spend playing video games.
SITUATION OF UNCERTAINITY
Furthermore, the goverment continue to give no indication of what is to follow. Regulations aimed at specific areas including e-commerce platforms, financial technology, social media, and online education have slashed the market capitalizations of several Chinese firms by more than half. This year, Alibaba's shares have dropped 31%. Baidu's stock has dropped by 25%.
