Swire has recently closed its Swire Seabed division in Norway and Constructor now belongs to Swire Pacific based out of Singapore. Hence the name change to Pacific Constructor.

Seabed Constructor finished a survey off of Mauritainia and is now headed across the Atlantic ocean with her AIS destination set to Port Of Spain, Trinidad. This is the wrong direction if she were going to search for MH370. I would not go so far as say this rules out a search this season, but it does not look good at this point.

Wildcard - Ocean Infinity is supposed to add a 3rd vessel by the end of the year.
Could someone who has access to ship tracking sites upload where seabed is? Or could you give me site where i can check without purchasing sth?

About 9 hours and 127 nautical miles from the search area. She is expected to hit the ground running and will begin launching AUVs on arrival. I would caution not to expect initial results for maybe a week. The HUGINs have 50 hours endurance and it could take the same amount of time to examine the data. Patience will be needed. The weather looks great. The first, Primary area of 5000 square km should take about a week based on Ocean Infinity's claim of up to 1200 sq km a day. I will update again when Seabed Constructor reaches the search area.

According to OI's website, Seabed Constructor is equipped with two ROV's.
The first is a 6000 meter rated Kystdesign Supporter Work Class ROV

I don't want to step on anybody's toes here, but the amount of non-dad jokes here in this subreddit really annoys me. First of all, dad jokes CAN be NSFW, it clearly says so in the sub rules. Secondly, it doesn't automatically make it a dad joke if it's from a conversation between you and your child. Most importantly, the jokes that your CHILDREN tell YOU are not dad jokes. The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. They are stupid plays on words, lame puns and so on. There has to be a clever pun or wordplay for it to be considered a dad joke.
Again, to all the fellow dads, I apologise if I'm sounding too harsh. But I just needed to get it off my chest.
