A list of puns related to "Scrubs (season 1)"
I would like to think since JD spends so much time fantasizing what could be, the series is just his memories. Itβs a mental log of his βmost important daysβ at Sacred Heart.
With how faulty human memories are, maybe heβs exaggerating in his memories how mean Janitor treated him, things like that even.
Like I just paused it after Dr. Cox trashed the lab, and that just seems unrealistic to me. Any physician who did that would likely get fired. Maybe he just got mad and threw something, but JDβs memories of the event become exaggerated and distorted. Things like that.
Am I overthinking this
What if JD, Turk, Elliot, Dr Cox, and Carla from season 1 met their future selves (from season 8)? How would they react, time-travel weirdness aside? And let's assume that no future knowledge is retained, so they can divulge and discuss anything.
Likewise, how would S1 characters react to their older, more experienced S8 colleagues? E.g. S1 Cox to S8 JD?
We know Kawhi was about to breakdown against the Warriors. The idea that we can potentially beat a scrub team in 5 games and have a week to rest while the Clippers potentially have to be a dog fight to get to us is potentially huge.
I love Scrubs Seasons 1-8 & really like Season 9. One thing about Season 9 that really bugs me is that if you close your eyes while Drew speaks, especially in the 2nd half of the season, his lines, pauses, everything in the way he speaks to others could be Dr Cox speaking. The writers gave Drew Dr Coxβs lines. Anyone else hear and see this in him? Heβs literally copying his mentor.
Hey y'all just re-watching scrubs and at 3:50-4:13 there's a song that plays and I just like the song so much and not knowing what it is, is driving me nuts. If anyone knows it sos. Thanks!
Donald Glover is only in 5 episodes of season 5.
(6:16 minutes in)
Abed: "In season 9 of Scrubs, Zach Braff was only in the first 6 episodes."
Troy: "Son of a bitch. After everything Scrubs did for him?"
I'm referring to Jake and Amy of course, but there might be people who are just in the middle of Season 2 right now so I don't wanna ruin the tension for them.
People kept saying that Jake and Amy's relationship is kinda unique for television in that they are healthy and that it isn't ridden with conflict and breakups. Now, I don't watch a lot of TV that involves fictional relationships spanning multiple seasons so I didn't got it. But then I got to Scrubs, and holy shit. Scrubs Season 1 spoilers coming up.
I'm only around S2E6 but holy shit JD and Elliot. The romantic and sexual tension between them is a fucking rollercoaster and it's just over one season, and most of it was across only two episodes. The end of My Drug Buddy, followed by My Bed Banter and Beyond has to be one of the most heart-wrenching sequences in television, particularly in how they placed the sequence of events. After the episode, it was clear how JD and Elliot will never work together as they are too toxic for one another that they would just destroy each other, it was beautifully written, but fuck was it hard to watch. And to add that right now there are hints that they aren't over each other and they'll try again. I literally couldn't take it and I checked if they finally end up with each other. >!I finally find out that they end up married in the finale!<. I'm pretty sure that there will be character development across the 8 seasons, but with the tension that is being built up, shit it is going to be stressful.
Most people would probably mention Friends for a great contrast to Jake and Amy (the trope is called Rachel and Rossing for a reason), but JD and Elliot also highlight how much more stress-free watching Jake and Amy is. Jake and Amy didn't have to repeatedly self-destruct to finally deserve each other, they grow mutually and it's actually nice to see, especially now that I've seen how bad it can get.
Title says pretty much everything. I think this show is brilliant because it handles serious issues with comedy well, good LGBTQ respresentation, diverse and talented cast, etc. But she isn't convinced.

Anyone else notice the irony of the season 1 episode where JD and Turk save the cameraman?
As a result, JD and Turk become a little famous and Dr. Kelso aggressively markets Dr. Turk on behalf of the hospital with vaguely racist stereotypical slogans such as "Time to get an EKG, G." Turk gets offended because he wants to be respected as a doctor, not a token black doctor, is mad at JD and then they figure it out and he threatens to sue Dr. Kelso, who kills the campaign.
It's a pretty solid racially progressive episode, right up until the point where Elliot heads downtown to have some fun and gets robbed by a black guy before the cab door has even closed.
Almost had it...
My friend claims JD is bullied by the Janitor, where as i believe the Janitor is actually the good guy in their relationship, where it is JD's treatment towards the Janitor that has made their relationship how it is.
Who is right?

Season 8 Episode 2 My Last Words: Such a great episode with such a heart breaking end. To actually feel so upset and connected with a character only introduced for a single episode and cause such an emotional roller coaster will always sit as my number one episode.
We meet Molly Clock and she calls JD Johnny. Turk comes back from his honeymoon Turk buys the scooters βWolverines letβs rollβ Elliot spills the coffee on Molly leading to a great βhow are your thighsβ conversation.
I just think this episode has it all.
Can anyone make me a gif of Becky when Elliott tells Dr. Kelso "but you call Becky sport".
I want Becky's part in that scene in a gif. Where shes looking with a patient and looks up all disgusted.
Thanks so much!!
