A list of puns related to "Sandboarding"
Hey everyone! I'm heading to Dubai for the first time next week and would really like to go sandboarding. I've googled to look where to go and who will take you, but it seems/feels like a lot of tour groups all do the same exact routine. Drive out to desert, sandboard one run, take photo, dune blast, take photos, bbq, show, etc... I did a similar thing in Peru and while it was fun, don't really want to do it again. It all seems like a touristy/cattle go-through-the-motions tour. Does anyone just provide a legit private sandboarding, or even a larger desert excursion? TIA
Does anyone have information about sandboarding near Riyadh? I understand the Red Sand Dunes are very popular. Are there any tours that go out there? What about renting a sandboard? Any help Would be appreciated.
Does anyone know where I can find the video Jack watched at 2:09 of the dune meme in is last try not to laugh video https://youtu.be/ud8sYf0nZcg?t=129

Narrator: Next up, a desert sport that promises to revolutionize the desert.
[Shark Tank theme plays]
Dr. Fritz: My name is Dr. Fritz.
Shaun: And my name's Shaun Sandsmith.
Dr. Fritz: And we're here from Aurus, Ozymandium.
Dr. Fritz: We're seeking the right to build on your land, in exchange for 5% of the company Shaun's Sandboarding.
Shaun: We've all seen the desert. It's full of like, sand and stuff. Nothing but sand everywhere. Giant sand dunes and stuff. Y'know?
Dr. Fritz: But there is a potential niche within these hills of sand. An economic opportunity that could become the next big trend in Ozymandium. Gentlemen, I'm here to share with you the new sport of sandboarding.
Shaun: It wasn't too long ago when I was hanging out in the desert one day. Thing is, I dropped my bag and it slid down, like, an entire sand dune. I thought like, you know, I wish there was a way to get down these sand dunes faster. I bet you could go really fast, too.
Shaun: So the next day I got a bunch of wood and stuff, and I tied them together, and I tried sliding down the dune with it. It worked, like, really well.
Dr. Fritz: And thus, sandboarding was born.
Dr. Fritz: However, Mr. Sandsmith here ran into a problem. He wanted to build a resort here, a way to spread the sport of sandboarding with an enjoyable, and potentially profitable, business.
Dr. Fritz: The only problem was that the land here was already claimed.
Dr. Fritz: That's why we are here today, asking for your help in securing the future of this endeavor.
Shaun: Plus, sandboarding is, like, fun, dude. I'm pretty sure people would enjoy it.
[Applause]
Bill: I see a problem here. That's my land we're talking about. If they're loud and rowdy, there's no way I'll allow it.
Dr. Fritz: Not a problem, sir. Its location will be a few miles from your location, and you should see no noise complaint issues.
Bill: Hm.
Shaun: Trust me, old man, this sport is going to explode. It'll be the next big thing!
Bill: Wasn't when I was younger.
[Audience gasps]
Dr. Fritz: Wait a second. That name. Are you THE Billy the Kid, the famous adventurer?
Bill: I'm no kid anymore.
Dr. Fritz: Billy the Adult then.
Bill: Well... you could say I'm still a kid at heart.
Dr. Fritz: And you sandboarded?
Bill: Why do you think I settled down here?
Shaun: You totally get wh

I write this report not as any sort of paid agent, but as a fellow guild member. I was compensated for work pertaining to the sport, but only in a business/legal capacity. My opinions are wholly my own.
Have you ever been walking endlessly across the sand dunes of Ozymandium? Think that all of that potential energy could somehow be converted into kinetic? Well, the solution has been discovered, and the result is quite thrilling! Sandboarding, created by former adventurer Billy the Kid and being expanded upon by Mr. Shaun Sandsmith, this fledgling sport combines high-speed with balance, dexterity, and core strength. It is as simple to understand as the name implies: strap yourself to a large board and sled down a steep sand dune. The skill arises from the difficulty of the selected route: whether it's coasting down a gradual incline or shredding along a narrow bank, there is a variety of ways that one can hone their skills. While specific details on the sport's regulation have yet to be clarified: point system, standardized routes, factoring in time as a component to be scored, aesthetical quality of performance, etc. there are a number of potential ways that the sport can be developed. How does it sound to be a pioneer in such a field? Mr. Shaun is currently undertaking the project of creating a resort around a highly sought-after area of the desert where the dunes are remarkably high. He hopes to create a new hotspot of activity centered around the sport, and any and all interest should be shown properly. I know that I do not speak alone when I say that the quests in recent weeks have had a tendency to be... draining in more than one sense of the word. Therefore, I would urge anyone who is currently getting themselves back on their feet to consider this as a premier excursion opportunity. Stress can take its toll both physically and mentally, so embarking on a new, fun venture is a great way to mitigate those worries and maintain a healthy lifestyle. I would say that it is "doctorally certified"!

After a long life of boat captaining and babysitting for rowdy kids, Olympe holes up in her hometown and takes a nap.
Or, the outskirts of it, though that's the part she's more comfortable in.
And the nap doesn't last very long, because the rowdy kids-- well, now they're rowdy teens-- decide to bust into her house and poke her in the face while she slaps at them to leave her alone, but they just plop down on the floor and talk at her.
"Who were your friends? Is that a new crew? Where are they now? If you're still gonna be a captain can we be your crew? How's your turtle?"
She puts a pillow over her head.
"Have you not anything better to do than bother an old woman? I am retired! This is why I have returned from Krache Kafou! You have a crew of your own, this you proved plenty well when you incessantly bothered the freelancers I hired to get me from there to here."
"Aw, can they come back? The blue one had good muffins."
"I do not know where they are from. I do not care. Go to Krache Kafou if you want to find them."
The teens grumble and groan.
"We're not allowed to go that far... Hey, if you're not a pirate anymore can we have some of your pirate booty?"
"I was never a pirate, you know this. And no."
"Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww, why not?"
Olympe chuckles under her pillow. "Go and find it if you would like. But I no longer have it."
The teens' eyes light up at the prospect of a treasure hunt.
"The freelancers do, this was their payment for their help and companionship. Fending you fearsome pirates off I dare to say they earned it."
"Aaaawwwwwwwwwwwwww," the teens groan, "You're no fun!"
But they leave her alone.
Hi,
I am a french sandboarder and found out there was a sand skiing kind of league in Ouargla (Sidi El Khoued and Ain Beida). So I suppose there are big sand dunes over there. After a quick research I found dunes located to the north of Ouargla.
My question is, do you know where in Algeria I could find huge dunes to practice sandboarding ? I don't absolutely know if there are some on the mediterranean coast for example. Tips will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
Also if you have no car and want to transfer from Alger airport to Ouargla, what's the best solution ?
I have my own Sandboarding blog and I've been recreationally Sandboarding for over 12 years now, I'm in the process of writing a book with the hope that it'll encourage people to get involved in the sport and to highlight any things that people should know and hopefully to improve people's knowledge and understanding.
Do you think there's anything I can include in this book that I might be missing? I intend to write about the things that are essential to know about the sport, equipment, travel tips, include some interviews with people I've spoke to, and include some places on where to go Sandboarding.
