I’ve recently taken to smoking cigars and would like to thank this sub for all the helpful insight.
My fiancé and I will be visiting Cabo next week and, while there, I would like to take the opportunity to try a few CCs. After our arrival I plan to head to a reputable B&M to pick up a few sticks to enjoy during our trip. I originally thought I’d bring some back, but I’ve noticed from what people have posted that the prices can be relatively steep in Mexico.
Firstly, Any recommendations for someone new to CCs? I tend to prefer medium to full bodied cigars. My favorites thus far have been Liga Privada No. 9, Undercrown, AF Gran Reserva, RP 1990, and Oliva Connecticuts.
Also, I’ve recently put together a tupperdor I’d like to fill. I would like to buy a box of sticks, but would it be a better idea to try a few cigars while there and then order what I like online when I return? Has anyone purchased CCs at the duty free shops when returning?
