In a last-ditch attempt to save a monstera with rust fungus, I have chopped it all the way to the base, washed the rest with neem/dish soap mixture, washed the roots and repotted. I did not have high hopes for it, but it pushed its first (half of a) leaf ftom the cut stem! reddit.com/gallery/nbpz4q
