Hey. This writeup is going to be split into a few categories, with a TL;DR at the bottom if you don't want to read all of it.

Tyrese Haliburton: 17.68 PER, 12.1 ppg, 5.4 ast, 3.6 reb, 1.2 stl, .7 blk, 1.6 TO, 29.4 mpg, 49.6 FG%, 87.7% FT, 44.8 3P%

Summary: LaMelo is the clear frontrunner here so far, but Quickley with more minutes or Haliburton with more scoring could easily surpass him. Edwards seems to be a distant 4th in the race at this point.
Minutes per game sidenote: Immanuel Quickley is getting SIGNIFICANTLY less minutes than Haliburton and Ball, with Quickley getting just 19.3, Ball getting 27.3, and Haliburton getting 29.3. Gonna bleed my Knicks colors here for a second and say that it's super impressive Quickley even has a case with 8-10 less minutes than his peers.
NARRATIVE/EYE TEST
LaMelo Ball: CLEAR LEADER SO FAR. Huge media attention because of Ball association, has made the Hornets fun to watch again, could lead them to the playoffs for the first time in a while... also has a lot of media momentum at this point in the season due to the flashy nature of his play.
Immanuel Quickley: Huge media attention because of Knicks association, beloved rookie for the first time in a while for Knicks fans, huge surprise at the 25th pick, could lead Knicks to the playoffs for the first time in a LONG time and has given the franchis

Who doesn't remember BG as a high flyer with his head above the ring throwing dunks without even touching the rim? Well he quietly reinvented himself to a real threat from behind the arc instead. And it's paying off.
So, uh, hi. This is my first post here. I know this is going to be very long and you might already be disinterested, but bear with me, and you might learn some cool things happening outside of Hollywood.
I decided to make this after realising how the quality of Telugu movies refused to rise after an entire decade. Sure, the image and sound quality is better, but the real quality has stagnated. So, in order to make an essay like this, I had to find the highest-quality Telugu movie ever made. I know this post wonβt do the movie justice, but itβs worth it if it gets the real attention it deserves.
Just because the most common genre in Telugu film is Action, I picked a movie from the same genre.
This is where Athadu comes in.
The full movie is on YouTube, with zero copyright issues. Turn on the captions for subtitles.
Now why did I pick this movie?
The resolution is garbage compared to most modern movies and the sound quality is extremely outdated (it was made in 2005, but still). So why do I think itβs the best action movie in Telugu history?
Because this movie follows a very different kind of quality. One that cannot be seen on the surface. With that being said, letβs kick things off:
Basic Premise
This is the story about a hitman named Nandu. He was framed for the recent murder of a powerful Indian political figure, Siva Reddy, and has gone into hiding. By using the identity of Pardhu, a child who ran away from his village 12 years prior, Nandu found refuge, unbeknownst to the villagers or the family, that they are actually housing an assassin.
Now before I continue, I know that there is a bit of romance, but that is absolutely not the focus of the movie, and it makes a point to prove that.
Music
Now, I wanted to talk about the music first, because in Telugu film, music isnβt usually about the sound ques in background, but rather the musical numbers.
Imagine if Disney put all their effort in their musical numbers and didnβt bother with the actual soundtrack. Sounds shitty, doesnβt it?
Thatβs the first lesson that needs to be learnt here: The OST, or the Official Soundtrack, deserves just as much respect as any musical number.
Hereβs the SoundCloud link to the entire OST of the movie.
Unfortunately, the OST never got an official release, so this is the best I can do. As someone who loves to listen to soundtracks specifically, itβs not every

I wanted to take a look at how the second-youngest player on the Vikings defense--#21 Mike Hughes--did in coverage, and whether he was at fault for any of the big plays that helped the Bills win this game. Hughes played mostly as an injury sub for injured CB Trae Waynes, and ended up playing the majority of the outside snaps at CB in his place.
Play | Details | Notes |
---|---|---|
Play 1 | Q1 2nd & 7 at MIN 40 (12:01) J.Allen pass short right to C.Clay to MIN 27 for 13 yards (A.Barr). | (Bottom of screen). Good first snap for Hughes, who is in man coverage on Andre Holmes and follows him step for step. |
Play 2 | Q1 1st & 10 at MIN 27 (11:20) J.Allen pass short right to C.Ivory to MIN 21 for 6 yards (A.Barr). | (Bottom). Hughes lines up in man coverage on Kelvin Benjamin and leverages Benjamin to the inside, where he has Andrew Sendejo sitting in a deep zone. Hughes sticks with Benjamin and stays positioned correctly to bracket with Dejo. |
Play 3 | Q1 2nd & 11 at MIN 26 (05:15) (Shotgun) J.Allen pass deep right to J.Croom for 26 yards, TOUCHDOWN. | (Top). Hughes is initially lined up in man coverage on Jason Croom. RB Marcus Murphy is motioned out wide from the backfield, and we can see that Eric Kendricks is in man coverage as he follows Murphy to the edge, though he is moving significantly slower to the outside than Murphy. Hughes attempts to pass off Croom to Kendricks and jumps in front of Murphy -- likely seeing that Kendricks was lagging on the motion to the outside, and confusing the defensive call for a zone. Kendricks didn't see Hughes's signal and allows Croom to break wide open for a touchdown. It appears that Hughes was attempting to stray from the defensive play call after seeing Kendricks trailing his man, but ultimately, Hughes should've stuck to his assignment unless Kendricks signaled him for help, and this broken play is his fault. |
Play 4 | Q1 1st & 10 at BUF 46 (01:19) (Shotgun) J.Allen sacked at BUF 39 for -7 yards (D.Hunter). | (Top) Hughes is in man coverage, and does an excellent job opening his hips with the WR's break to the inside. Good coverage here, which contributed to Josh Allen taking a sack with nobody to throw to. |

> Simmons scoffed when asked by a Jazz beat writer before Thursday's game about the Rookie of the Year race. "It wasn't a f---ing race," Simmons said to the reporter. "Did you see the votes?"
For reference, he had 90 out of 101 first place votes. He also talked about how great it was to dominate the Jazz after being booed the whole game.
