I started to work on a robotic process automation solution in 2017 out of the frustration that there were no acceptable solutions at that time and managed to have a first MVP last year with a beta version available today.

The solution consists of a studio, portal, robot and Chrome, Firefox extension. In terms of features, you can replicate any desktop/web actions like clicking buttons, sending text or any other human interactions with a desktop or web application. Apart from that, it has support for recording actions, extracting invoices, receipts content, object detection, document classification, sentiment analysis, google api integration and many other features.

Hi everyone,

Outside of the key differentiators (Data Engineering is dealing with big data in a lot of cases, cloud storage/services etc.) when it comes to pipelines, what is the difference between RPA and data engineering with triggers? Here is an RPA platform for reference (https://www.uipath.com/product)

Are RPA products leveraging the same types of pipelines in DE? Is it a part of the process? I have not used these tools before, but hope someone can screw my head on right between these two areas...

I also feel like software automation engineers are a thing of the past, and now becoming more related to data engineering?
