A list of puns related to "Automation Anywhere"
Hello,
Recently jumped ship to a company that is looking into digital transformation - They currently have a lot of manual processes in place and trying to automate to improve efficiencies.
They talked to a Sales Engineer from AA and signed a contract for their services. However, while interviewing, I was nitpicking their automation ideas and a lot of then were process automation - When a form is complete, enter the inputted information in a SharePoint list. Create an automation tracker, to see how many automations are ran daily and so on.
To me, Power Automate and Power Automate Desktop would have been a better option. The company is in the stock market business, they are entirely Windows/Microsoft based.
Haven't played much with AA, but it seems what the team is trying to automate, might be better handled by another tool.
Would like to hear your thoughts. What are the pros of AA? Should I continue to suggest Power Automate and Power Automate Desktop?
Thanks!
Hello RPA community,
I hope you can help me with something and that i'm not breaking the sub's rules.
I'm currently interviewing with both UiPath and Automation Anywhere, so wanted to ask the community what company has the better present and future in your eyes. Both from a product and market fit perspective but also looking ahead.
Just to clarify it would be a sales role based in EMEA.
Any insight would be great :)
The title sums it up, i came here after 2 weeks struggling with how glitchy object cloning in AA be. It just breaks left and right and incapable of clicking OK button sometimes (which is very big and identifiable). I just need something neat and straightforward that the end-user can wrap their mind around it. Nothing some bloody thing that fails even in basic command and god dont get me started in replacing βCLICKING A GODDAMN BUTTONβ with macro, script, and metabot. Thanks
I'm using CSV, but when passing the data the accents disappear, what do I do?

My name is Tanner and I work for Protech Theatrical out of Las Vegas, NV. We're a rigging equipment manufacturer, and we're unveiling a new product at USITT.
CounterMate is a next generation counterweight assist winch. It uses sealed arbors, eliminating the need to adjust counterweight. The machine plugs into typical 120V single phase power circuit (other options are available) and it is operated from a touch screen HMI. It comes standard with an absolute encoder for accurate and repeatable positioning, and all units are variable speed. Users can save and recall "spike" positions, or operate the machine manually from up and down pushbuttons. CounterMate was designed for installation on 8" centers, making it ideal for both renovation and new construction projects.
Redundant braking is standard, as well as Safe-Torque Off ("STO"), redundant limit switches (software based and hard-struck ultimate limits). Because many school districts do not have access to automation technicians for troubleshooting or repair, each component of CounterMate is modular. In the unlikely event of a control problem, simply swap in a spare.
These are not intended for professional venues, so capacities and speeds are lower than their bigger brothers. However, we did a lot of research to determine what K-12 venues actually use, and the capacities reflect that. These vary by machine, but they range from 1250lb electrics at 20fpm to special effect winches at more than 200 fpm. All capacities are listed in terms of safe working load. Unlike other machines and listed counterweight system capacities, the weight of the batten (typical, 60'), wire rope, etc is included in this value. eg: A GP-750 is roughly equivalent to a 1000lb cwt set.
They cost only $6995 which includes a CounterMate Power Drive Unit ("PDU"), Motor Control Cabinet ("MCC"), Controller, sealed CounterMate arbor, and drive media. Delivery and installation not included.
Available for purchase Q3 2021. Multiple patents are pending.

Iβve been developing in Automation Anywhere (Enterprise) for the last 5 years and all of the bots Iβve developed some taking months have to be converted over to Power Automate by February of 2022. Iβm not sure what my company is thinking. Iβm not alone, others have it worse, some have hundreds of bots deployed. I love Automation Anywhere I love it more now than I ever have after working in Power Automate. This platform is shit! /rant
It takes 26 clicks right now to send one customer a statement. If it has anything other than a parts invoice I also have to wait for GP to load the invoice copy so I can save it in PDF format. Can I use either of these platforms to do the repetitive emails and pull invoice copies?
My workload is huge and it can take an entire shift to send out and record notes just on new invoices, if I could free up that time it would be amazing.
I've attempted the built in macros in GP before, but I'd still have to run the task with each customer so it really wasn't a time saver.
For any existing and future Automation Anywhere (AA) investors, UiPath has officially filed S-1 @ a $35B valuation last week.
Still time to participate with AA. If youβre accredited DM me to learn more!
As predicted, shares of Automation Anywhere have already sold out.
Over the past few days, there has been a huge increase in demand of Automation Anywhere throughout the entire industry due to the recent events surrounding UIPath.
Most experts expect Automation Anywhere in the foots steps of UIPath. UIPath announced a funding round at $72 a share a month before their Direct Listing IPO. This will most likely put them over $100 IPO price and we expect to see a $200 trading price.
Automation Anywhere should see similar results.
I will post here if I get more shares.
Which one is easier to use and which one is in much more demand? I'm currently learning automation anywhere, because I feel like it's easy and intuitive. But what are your guys opinions? I have a course for uipath which I haven't finished yet either. I made one bot using uipath and I also made one bot using automation anywhere.
How long should I study? How long should I use AA before Iβll be ready for the exam?
