Ultimately, I revise my characterization and argument that Viktor is the one Katie will ultimately end up with βΒ but I think the criteria by which she selects a man will stay the same.

Let me begin by presenting my research and analysis. This is long, but stay with me because I think I got some good stuff here and I wanna hear your opinion on it - let's debate. This is an ESSAY β yes, an essay. You can skim to the bolded parts LOL. Essentially, we can divide the guys between:
- those casted because Katie might like them (the F4),
- those casted because of storyline/backstory (think Abigail from last season, this group usually makes it pretty far),
- those casted for intrigue or peculiar lifestyle (think Bennett and Kit, this group also usually makes it past the midway point),
- those casted as a villain or for drama (this group makes it to the midway point),
and 5) those casted as day 1 or day 2 contestants.
To analyze the men, we need to bucket them into groups that appropriately fit the characteristics for each. Let's start from the easiest group to identify βΒ those casted because Katie might like them (group 1). From what we know about Katie, she's really open-minded and funny (she literally posted a tik tok about having sex with a ghost). We know she has been through hard times and can be mature (see her and Sarah's convo), she has a strong sense of morality and what's right (see bullying), and that she's looking for purpose and meaning in her life (See her most recent birthday insta post: https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/the-bachelorette-katie-thurston-birthday-age.html/). She wants to be a talk show host one day, she's from the West Coast, and she seems serious about getting married.
Based off this information, I would say the most important trait for her is going to be someone who is also open-minded and adventurous βΒ someone who will be a partner on the life journey she's about to start anew on. She's also a pretty practical person because she was a bank marketing manager βΒ she has to know how to handle businesses and people.
