I'll be moving soon from Los Angeles to Sweden. I need help finding a good relocation/shipping/moving company quickly!

(Sorry if my Swedish is still not very good. I tried my best to write the title of the post accurately. But as Uschnej pointed out, rederi wasn't quite the right term.)

I'm specifically interested in hearing from American expats who relocated from the USA to Sweden about your experiences, and who handled your move in the USA and in Sweden.

I'm a US citizen, and I recently got a job in Malmö. But the visa approval process took longer than expected. As a result, my time to make arrangements for shipping of my belongings has been cut down from the month I had planned, to no more than two weeks. So I need to quickly find a good shipping option since I'll be moving from Los Angeles, CA to Malmö at the beginning of May.

Can someone (particularly, anyone who has moved from the USA to Sweden) please recommend a reliable, reputable international shipper that I can trust to do the job right? I'd prefer to personally pack all of my stuff into a container that gets dropped off outside of my house, and to unpack it myself in Malmö. So I really just need a company that will:

• deliver a container (or 2-3 smaller ones) to my home that will hold about 14-15 cu m (~500 cu ft) of boxes
• pick up and ship the container(s) with insurance for my goods
• help me take care of port/customs paperwork and fees
• deliver the container(s) to my new residence in Malmö
• pick up the container(s) after I've finished emptying it/them

However, I'm not totally opposed to using a service that provides loading/unloading as well, as long as they're a reputable company, they provide high-quality service, and insure everything from point A to B. But the door-to-door container service is important to me as I don't want to risk my items being unloaded from a truck or other container and loaded into another container between here and there - there's far too much risk of something being lost, stolen, or broken that way. It would be much better to have everything stay in one big box that isn't unloaded until it reaches its final destination.

I won't be bringing any appliances or big furniture. But I work in video game audio and music, and have a decent amount of expensive audio gear. So I would really rather load and unload stuff myself than trust movers to do it (been there done that before, and regret it), or ship items individually and ri

Sally, "It doesn't sound so good when you put it like that, but don't worry. I've nicknamed him Percy so that'll help him fit in. Is there any other problem?"

Enjoy seeing an asshole MMC get put in his place by a snarky FMC and her tiny dog? Then the first half of this book is for you! Do you love it when characters really get to know each other and I don’t just mean biblically (though they do that too 😈)? Then the second half is also for you! Now that we’ve established (congrats btw) that the entirety of this book is for you, please read asap so we can talk about it!

This post is relatively spoiler free

So often authors do a lot of telling rather than showing that the characters have chemistry and are falling in love, but Annika Martin really shows us in MEB. This book is a funny, steamy and sweet slow burn with the right amount of pettiness, heart-pinching angst, vindication and grovel. 🎶These are a few of my favorite things🎶

I feel like I should make the obligatory, “I’m not usually into the billionaire trope” comment. I’m only adding this to encourage those of you who wouldn’t typically pick up a romance with “billionaire” in the title to give this one a go. Let this be your gateway book.

MEB is dual POV at it's finest. Loved getting into Henry's head. Here are some witticisms and quotes I highlighted (you don’t really need context to appreciate them):

• "A Venn diagram forms in my mind. The circle that contains people I know who would think of such a moronic joke does not touch the circle that contains friends who would be up this early."

• "My IQ has taken a high-speed elevator to the lower level parking garage where cavemen chisel away at their square wheels."

• "She slides the pad of her pointer finger around my lips like she’s memorizing the shape of them. “I like feeding you cookies,” she says. “That’s convenient,” I say. “Because I like your fingers in my mouth.”

More Things I love about Most Eligible Billionaire:

• Enemies to lovers where the dislike is actually warranted (MMC thinks FMC is a scam artist who took advantage of his dying mother and he treats FMC very poorly as a result. FMC thinks MMC is a crap son who abandoned his dying mother.)
• There are tons of call backs - Martin paid attention to details when fleshing out her characters and it shows
• They actually have things in common and they bond over those things! (Not something I typically expect from the billionair
