A list of puns related to "Rare breed (agriculture)"
Looks like they stepped in it now:
As of this past week in Louisvilleβ¦
None at Total Wine.
None at Liquor Barn.
None at several local outlets.
Please donβt tell me this has become the next βhard to findβ bottle. Surely it hasnβt come to thisβ¦
Wasnt a price tag at the shelf just grabed it assuming it will be a little over 50 but rang up as 67. Is this normal or inflates pricing becouse it feels high
I'm out in SD today. The temperature this morning was -17Β°. I put 2 jugs of fuel treat in when I started but sure enough it still gelled up.
Another trucker, off duty, took the time to run to a station and got me some more fuel treat, and lasagna, from a local restaurant, for me to eat while I wait for a service truck.
Thank You kind stranger!
Update: It wasn't so much as my fuel gelling, but my filter was just really really dirty.
I made it home after a 15 hour day. Emergency 16 for the win!
Bought one recently. The taste is not offensive ( no strange odor or unplansant/polarizing flavor) but also nothing stand out. It is very plain and lack the complexity. For almost $70 I think it is a bit underwhelming.
To make sure my conclusion I also bought WP10 and Pikesville, both of these offers a more complex flavor.(however to my own taste most rye is not complex enough compared with Bourbon or scotch).
Any local shops stocking the frt trigger as it is still legal in NJ?
It's one that I'm aware of but hasn't been on my radar until now. Decided to try to find a bottle and can't locate it at any of my local stores (Minnesota/Twin Cities).
Okay so Iβve been eyeing the rare breed triggers for a hot minute now. Especially now that they are releasing a 3 position trigger with the semi function. But on that note Iβve been hesitant to spend damn near 400 on 1 because i know they had issues with 1 of the springs bending essentially rendering it useless until replaced. But i want to know if anyone has one and ran the hell out of it and what you think. Iβve only ran mil spec and geissele triggers and Iβm curious how they compare. Any input would be great. Thanks homiesπ€πΌ
Just wanted to know for when I can afford it
I am fairly new to drinking whisky neat. I've always enjoyed bourbon, particularly in cocktails, but in the last year or so have found myself enjoying bourbon neat, and slowly enjoying higher proofs.
I live in Australia and am constantly jealous of the posts here of bourbons that just aren't available, or are way too expensive. EH Taylor Single Barrel can set you back $AUD300 (about $USD220), if you can even find it.
So I get what I can and what I can afford. I've got a bottle of Makers Mark 101, Old Forester 1920, Four Roses Single Barrel and splurged for a bottle of Bookers (all of which go through long periods of being sold out in Australia), but if I'm honest with myself, nothing is as good as Wild Turkey Rare Breed, which even in Australia is always on the shelf for a reasonable price (comparatively). I can't differentiate all the different smells and flavours that some of the people on this forum can, but to my palate the nose, taste and finish are just fantastic. I enjoy rye so I think the high rye content is part of it. It just seems to ooze flavour to the point of decadence, and changes and evolves on my tongue long after I have had a sip.
I'll keep buying and trying new bourbons because I am enjoying the hobby so much, but I'll always have a bottle of WTRB on the shelf. I understand the love for it on this forum, its just fantastic.
How soon do we think the ATF is going to start sending out letters about the Rare Breed FRT15 trigger?
Like, should I get my dog in witness protection now or wait til I get the letter?
Is it just me, or is this getting harder to find? Anyone got any leads? It's my birthday this week and I'd really like to pick some up. Thanks!
First off- are they comparable? I would say they are! (Both are birds after all) Second - whatβs everyones preference if we were JUST going off nose, palate, finish? And NOT availability. Iβm just genuinely curious! (Maybe someones done a blind tasting and included these?) Maybe I should and report backβ¦
