I've been giving some thought to who I would love to see play Invisible Woman/Susan Storm and Mr. Fantastic/Reed Richards in the upcoming Fantastic Four movie. Both Saoirse Ronan and Rahul Kohli have proven themselves capable actors who can handle both drama and levity. I think they would both be fantastic (sorry, couldn't resist) starring in Marvel Studios' upcoming Fantastic Four movie!
"Star Wars Fan Fiction has, and will always be a restaurant.
We all love eating there. We don't like *every* dish on the menu and that's okay, you're not supposed to. Order what you like, avoid what you don't, and don't worry about what others are having.
And don't be a dick to the staff."
Love this older quote from Rahul Kohli on Twitter about Star Wars. It's perfect for us fic writers! The "Don't be a dick to the staff" is for those salty readers.
Happy New Year!
I caught him originally in izombie and now midnight mass. I feel this guy is one big role from being a household name. Is there any actor or actress that you view this way?
DAMN that man is fine. Came for Rahul stayed for the vamps.
Okay so can we please praise and talk about his accent as it seems super hard for British people as a whole when doing different types of American accents and his is so good. He really shines for me here. Loved him in Bly house too but wow!
Iβm not Muslim but I am a South Asian Male, and seeing what the Sheriff went through across this entire show - from the scene in the School to the scene of him being shot and insulted by Bev - was extremely emotional and effectively personal for me because every single South Asian Male has experienced it.
One minute being patronised. Another being insulted with terms like Raghead and Terrorist. Feeling pressure to fit in but also being reminded that no matter what you donβt belong.
Post-9/11, this really encompasses much of the ugliness of being South Asian in the West. I was very young when it happened, but I know that my father experienced a lot of this in Australia after 9/11, and now as an adult I have experienced a lot of this too.
Thank you Rahul Kohli and Mike Flanagan, Iβve never connected with a character like this before - at least, not on a deep personal level that is hard to explain
sorry, just here to fangirl over this absolute gem of an actor. Iβve been mildly obsessed with him since izombie (I recommend you binge watch if you havenβt seen already, such a good show with an amazing cast) & midnight mass has made me love him even more. This is the first role Iβve watched of his where heβs had an American accent and it was refreshing to see another side of him. His presence of Twitter as well just shows how charming he is in real life & I hope he continues to flourish and get the recognition he deserves. Fangirling over !
