A list of puns related to "Pouilly Fumé"
La Forcine Pouilly Fumé 2013 - wanted to drink this one in 2016 latest, the winery provided these notes: Smokey, Flintstone, perfumed nose, pronounced fruit.
Well now in the end of 2017 I have a gold coloured wine, aromas likened to Sauternes wine / Semillion grape. So nuts, butter scotch, spices. No fruit though. Still a strong acidity in this Sauvignon Blanc. Very interesting and tasty, however I wouldn’t advise to drink any later than this. https://i.imgur.com/G1mfEKZ.jpg
For an upcoming weekend, I'm looking to pair three wines for three meals on different evenings, with the recipes chosen by my companion. A different bottle for each is possible.
I'm aware we cook relatively non-standard but I'm trying to gain experience to match wine&food. The meals are not necessarily eaten across the evenings in the order listed. Also my companion often makes changes to the recipes, e.g., we might not use an ingredient but we will use the title components.
The first is a Feta Beet Pasta. Recipe (with Feta added): https://fitfoodienutter.com/recipe/super-easy-quick-beetroot-rosemary-pasta/#wprm-recipe-container-3879
The second is a Lamb Yogurt Stew (Rogan Josh) with Spinach Flatbread. Recipes (no saffron yogurt): https://ketohh.com/low-carb-lamb-yogurt-curry/ and https://www.spainonafork.com/homemade-spinach-flatbread-with-saffron-yogurt-sauce/
The final one is a Mushroom Brussel Sprout Celeriac Casserole . Recipe is in Dutch but Google Translate gives a good impression: https://www.oanhskitchen.nl/spruitjes-uit-de-oven-koolhydraatbeperkt/
What would you recommend or which advice can you give for good pairings? What tastes to focus on, where to look for inspiration. Many and varied suggestions are welcome!
The wines from my cellar below are all those who I think should be optimally drunk about now
My own thoughts were as follows:
The Feta Beet Pasta might match well with one of the Italian options. Since it has a salty cheese and some sweet beet, the Ugolini Valpolicella Ripasso Classico Superiore 2011 Valpolicella Ripasso Italy might go well. Otherwise, I'd dare go for the San Giusto a Rentennano Chianti Classico.
The Lamb Yogurt Stew sounds like something for a Bordeaux blend but as it has a lot of international accents, I'd go for Stellenbosch Vineyards Goue Kaap 2016. Otherwise, the Château d'Arsac Margaux 2009 Margaux France Bordeaux Margaux or Chateau Tournebrise Lalande-de-Pomerol 2010 Lalande-de-Pomerol might work nicely.
The Mushroom Casserole might work nicely with a Pinot Noir, given my cellar, I''d pick one of the Burgundies but not sure which one would work best.
What do you think? Any advice is much appreciated!

... keep reading on reddit ➡I don't want to step on anybody's toes here, but the amount of non-dad jokes here in this subreddit really annoys me. First of all, dad jokes CAN be NSFW, it clearly says so in the sub rules. Secondly, it doesn't automatically make it a dad joke if it's from a conversation between you and your child. Most importantly, the jokes that your CHILDREN tell YOU are not dad jokes. The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. They are stupid plays on words, lame puns and so on. There has to be a clever pun or wordplay for it to be considered a dad joke.
Again, to all the fellow dads, I apologise if I'm sounding too harsh. But I just needed to get it off my chest.
The doctor says it terminal.
Alot of great jokes get posted here! However just because you have a joke, doesn't mean it's a dad joke.
THIS IS NOT ABOUT NSFW, THIS IS ABOUT LONG JOKES, BLONDE JOKES, SEXUAL JOKES, KNOCK KNOCK JOKES, POLITICAL JOKES, ETC BEING POSTED IN A DAD JOKE SUB
Try telling these sexual jokes that get posted here, to your kid and see how your spouse likes it.. if that goes well, Try telling one of your friends kid about your sex life being like Coca cola, first it was normal, than light and now zero , and see if the parents are OK with you telling their kid the "dad joke"
I'm not even referencing the NSFW, I'm saying Dad jokes are corny, and sometimes painful, not sexual
So check out r/jokes for all types of jokes
r/unclejokes for dirty jokes

Edit: this is not a post about NSFW , This is about jokes, knock knock jokes, blonde jokes, political jokes etc being posted in a dad joke sub

We told her she can lean on us for support. Although, we are going to have to change her driver's license, her height is going down by a foot. I don't want to go too far out on a limb here but it better not be a hack job.
Ants don’t even have the concept fathers, let alone a good dad joke. Keep r/ants out of my r/dadjokes.
But no, seriously. I understand rule 7 is great to have intelligent discussion, but sometimes it feels like 1 in 10 posts here is someone getting upset about the jokes on this sub. Let the mods deal with it, they regulate the sub.

My own thoughts were as follows:
The Lentil Broccoli Curry gives me the most trouble. Something juicy with some spice might work. Perhaps the Gomersal Shiraz 2012 Barossa Valley? Alternatively, GSM's often work with spiced dishes, so I could go for one of the Domaine Familial Mandourelles. In the same sense the Herdade de São Miguel Colheita Seleccionada Tinto 2015 (blend of Syrah, Cab Sauv and Touriga Nacional and Alicante Bouschet) might be interesting.
For the casserole, as it is with pasta and a fairly 'big&hearty' dish, I would try the Nativ Eremo San Quirico 2009 Irpinia Campi Taurasini. I'd also see a Cab Sauv working out, so the Domaine de la Jasse Tête de Cuvée Rouge 2012 or Robert Mondavi To Kalon Vineyard Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon 2011 might work.
Finally, the Meatloaf. As it is meat with quite some spices (tandoori) I'd go for fairly medium-to-full body wine that won't overpower the mouth too much. A right-bank Bordeaux might fit the bill then which suggests the Chateau Tournebrise Lalande-de-Pomerol 2010 Lalande-de-Pomerol or Château Cafol Château Pontet Saint Brice Saint-Émilion Grand Cru 2011
What do you think? Any advice is much appreciated!
