A list of puns related to "Pirates Constructible Strategy Game"
Hello! Does anyone here have some of the ships from the Wiz-Kidz collectible card game: "Pirates Constructible Strategy Game"?
I'm trying to learn what the length of the different ships are, but no forums have that information, and any images I find never have a ruler in them. If anyone could measure a few (I believe the come in different sizes) I would really appreciate it.
Thank you!
Who else remembers this amazing game? You would get packs of 2 ships and crew and punch the out to make models. This is actually what got me interested into Pirate lore in the first place. I'm curious as to who else remembers this game
Looking for figures from the Pirates Constructible Strategy Game by Wizkids, particularly ships and booster packs from later editions as well as those from The Crimson Coast, Barbary Coast, South China Seas, and Frozen North editions. As well as rare, limited edition, or super rare ships. Thanks.
I'm looking for a game as similar as possible to the Pirates Strategy Game. If you don't know what I'm talking about - https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pirates_Constructible_Strategy_Game.
It's a fantastic tabletop collectible game, but it is not very convenient whatsoever. I'm looking for a game that is similar in playstyle (the idea of ships having unique abilities with unique crew members all racing for the most gold).
I used to really enjoy playing Pirates CSG, where you built your tabletop figures from pieces punched out of cards that were sold in tin foil packs, similar to Magic or PokΓ©mon.
Ive got some nostalgia stuck in my craw, but the game is out of print and I doubt I could find an opponent. I am wondering if (and I appreciate that this is a long shot) there are any suggestions for similar video games? I guess the bits I enjoyed were the multiple victory objectives (collect treasure vs. combat), the unique units filling multiple roles, and freedom from hexes or a grid.
Addendum: I'm aware of advance wars, ff tactics, tactics ogre. But in my opinion these are less complex in some ways.
Hi y'all, so this is a weird one for me because I distinctly remember posting about this game in this subreddit before AND getting an answer but I can neither find that post nor can I remember the answer so I'm back at it again.
I'm 90 percent certain that the games title contains the word "pearl". It's a top down 2d strategy game where you click on tiles to move your pirate ship and each tile had a chance to contain random encounters such as battle with other ships or krakens. Each time the map was randomly generated so no 2 games played out the same. You started out with a set amount of different attack each strong against certain enemies and weak against other. If I remember correctly there was a harpoon weapon that was particularly strong against the kraken enemy. I think you won the game by collecting 8(?) pieces of treasure but I'm not entirely sure.
Thanks for any help with this.
I had a blast with this game but for the life of me I can't remember what its name was.
Go to www.piratechess.club, login with password embargoes and click on the treasure chest to enter.
The game is a battle of strategy and skill for 2 players, to the death, using two fleets of old sailing ships and pirate vessels, with intricate strategies and some surprises. You deploy and manage your fleet.

I remember this game running in a window (no fullscreen AFAIK).
In the game, you had your ship to explore the sea. There was a grid for to click where you would like to go. All the battles were turn based. It was not an easy game (at least for me with 10 yo).
The graphics were better than 'Captured By Pirates!' (1992) but very inferior to 'Seven Seas' (2003) but it was very similar to these games.
Edit1: The game had a graphics quality like 'Chip's Challenge!'
