Hey guys,
I am looking for a VG+ to a NM copy of this album. Phantom Thread was a decent movie, but I was completely blown away by the score and have wanted to add this to my collection ever since. This album has become hard to find online and when it is available, the prices are absurdly high. I am hoping to pay in the $40 to $50 range if anyone is willing to part with their copy.

Thanks!
This might sound a little silly. Ever since i first watched phantom thread (back in january) iβve been using the phantom thread score album as my sleeping playlist so iβve fallen asleep to it ever since.
I usually sleep at 4am-ish and today at around 7pm i decided to rewatch phantom thread (7th time) and as soon as it started i started getting insanely sleepy for some reason which made no sense since i usually sleep like 9 hours from that time.
i realised its entirely possible that i accidentally conditioned myself to feel sleepy whenever i hear the phantom thread score since iβm used to falling asleep to it every night lol.
I saw Paul Thomas Andersonβs Phantom Thread when it came out (half because Jonny did the soundtrack and half because Daniel Day Lewis). Jonny over-performed my expectations because the soundtrack is just gorgeous and fits with the movieβs aesthetics so well. The other day I was sitting and listening to the soundtrack alone and itβs even better in isolation. You can really see his influence on AMSP in the way he did that soundtrack, as a few things sound very Radiohead-y. I highly recommend giving it a listen if you havenβt already
This soundtrack is one of my favorite movies scores of all time and I canβt seem to find anything as good ): My favorite songs on this album would have to be House of Woodcock, Endless Superstition and For the Hungry boy. I really love the romantic sounding instrumentals. Are there any albums and movie scores that sound similar to this album or classical artists with a similar style to Johnny Greenwood?
The Tailor of Fitzrovia is the most beautiful music piece Iβve heard in my life. I canβt describe how much I love it. Incredible

Thanks to sites like everynoise and reddit, I do pretty well on my own with following a sound down a rabbit hole, but I'm at a loss!
I'm obsessed with the warmth and density of instrumentation in these works, but specifically I'm looking for more music that matches this bloated romantic style. I'm not sure if there is a genre that these would fall under. Just as an aside, I am fairly well acquainted with most of the western canon of classical music, if that helps narrow down suggestions. Even just a nudge in the right direction may be enough for me to search on my own.
I just listened to The Tailor of Fitzrovia and itβs so good Iβm looping it for like an hour. I donβt think Iβll manage to finish the album today
I've recorded a classical piece on a Steinway acoustic grand piano. But there is a lot of accent on all the notes, even as what I'm playing is very legato and I'm hitting the keys as smoothly as possible.
I would like to get a sound similar to this recording, from the Phantom Thread soundtrack, starting around 0:30. It's super smooth and hardly any accents on the notes.

I'm working in protools, I have 2 stereo tracks, one from close to the open lid and one from the back of the room. I've tried using heavy compression to curb the transients and bring up the sustained sound to even everything out. But it just ends up sounding squashed with accents still apparent on each note. Any ideas?
EDIT: Thanks to everyone so far for their input! Seems like many agree it is either felted or the muting pedal. However, here is another example of a recording which, although it has a very different tone, achieves a similarly smooth and sustained sound with little accent. And this one is definitely recorded on a "normal" grand piano. Granted, he is one of the best piano players in the world, but it's still an amazing sound and texture in the recording. Hi, /r/radiohead! I was wondering if any of your would help me figure this out.
I was watching Phantom Thread in theaters a month ago when I heard some wordless vocals chime in during a scene towards the end. For additional context, the scene was the wedding reception that Alma and Reynolds were having, with the vocalists coming in just as they were walking down a flight of stairs. I saw the film with two people who like Grizzly Bear, a band Jonny Greenwood admires, and figured that it was them singing those parts. I can't however, find that track on the soundtrack album anywhere, making it more difficult for me to determine who was singing.
So, would anyone here happen to know which vocalists were singing during that part of the film? Was it really Grizzly Bear? Were they members of the London Contemporary Orchestra, or some other group entirely?
Hi, all.
With the winter wait for the next half of Season 4 upon us, we realize that there are going to continue to be more and more repetitive speculation posts on what may yet happen in the remainder of Young Justice: Phantoms. The majority of these threads really don't need to be threads, as they are more commentaries on things that belong to episode/post discussion. Thus, we are continuing the trend of a pinned post entirely for centralized speculation, to diminish the aforementioned problem.
From now on, some threads, if deemed so, are going to be removed and redirected here, to keep the subreddit clean as well as discussions more focused and less repetitive.
Keep it crash, and if you feel confused/think you missed something (S4 related) feel free to ask it in here too, rather than making a whole thread about it.
Our first speculation thread was replaced by the trending event we enacted this past Thursday to coincide with the mid-season finale, and that post is now being replaced by a new speculation thread. Still, I'm sure many of you are wondering how it went, and we're happy to report that #RenewYoungJustice trended on the Entertainment page of Twitter for several hours, even making it to the top ten for a stretch. We had thousands of Tweets over pretty much half the day and got plenty of engagement from YJ cast and crew. Y'all crushed that magic and we can hope that HBO Max, WB, and the other powers that be took notice. If we want to see Season 5 realized, we can continue to share our love for the show on social media and keep it trending on HBO Max during the off-season. But hey, that's business as usual. We got this!
Oh, and Happy New Year.

Hello, y'all.
There has been an increase in threads that really didn't need to be threads, as they are more commentaries on things that belong to episode/post discussion threads. Thus, We have come up with the idea of making a thread entirely for speculation, something centralized, as to diminish the aforementioned problem.
