A list of puns related to "Patrick Grant (designer)"
See r/TVRemix for the episodes :)
I am enjoying the new series, hosted by Joe Lycett this time round.
They are doing 'Reduce, Reuse, Recycle' week, using second hand charity clothing to make new garments. When explaining the rationale behind the theme, judge Patrick dropped the bombshell and I was truly surprised.
I personally only really buy clothes from charity shops myself, and I simply don't throw out clothing...I don't think I have ever really worn something threadbare as I tend to have a large wardrobe from charity shop finds.
Anything I decide I don't want any longer goes back to the charity shop.
I was actually pretty shocked to hear that many people simply throw clothing into the bin, which ends up in landfill. A quick google finds lots of articles talking about the amount of clothing waste.
I guess I just thought it was standard issue to go through your closet and donate the unwanted items to charity shops. I know personally that damaged or soiled items can still be donated to be used as rags, but this might depend on the store policy.
Do you donate? Chuck?
