We were playing Scrabble and my father asked if I could get music on my phone. I pull up Pandora and after a few songs I ask if he'd like any more influences because all it played was Chris Cornell and his few bands. He told me to add The Doors to it. Few songs later, The Who started playing. He proceeded with "Who came through The Doors?" and he laughed at his joke for a good minute or two.

more like dad revelations. I was pulling up carpet and padding Sunday because we adopted two very rude Husky puppies last year that like to urinate in the house. As I was working, I was listening to Parliment Funkadelic on Pandora and I came to the realization that I was listening to P-Funk as I was dealing with pee funk.
Another thing that happened the same day was I took an opened bag of bird feed out of the closet to pull the carpet up and when I looked at it a bit later, I saw beetles all over the bag and crawling on the counter where I had set it. Probably 40 of the little suckers. I had to text my wife about that one. "Honey, I've got bad news. Our bag of bird feed has been infested with beetles. Yes, our bird feed has been infested with... more bird feed."
Anyway, just thought I would share. Carry on with the groaners.

Me: I turned Pandora off, but it is still playing and I would have to completely close all my school work tabs to shut the stupid thing down. Several songs later, and it still won't go away. ):|

9yo: Mom, what are you listening to?

Wife: Pandora

9yo: What station?

Wife: OK Go.

9yo: OK, I'll go.

And my 9yo proceeded to walk out the door. I was so proud! Had a little tear in my eye and everything.

We're listening to music on Pandora and Mozart comes on.

Her dad: "Do you know what Mozart is doing now?"

We shrug.

Her dad: "Decomposing."

I normally telegraph my jokes, but this one was totally natural... Talking to my wife about my sister's upcoming trip to DisneyWorld and how they were going in May...

Wife..."have talked to your sister about crowds because of the opening of Pandora at Animal Kingdom?"

"Yeh, they are going down opening weekend, but skipping Animal Kingdom completely, I bet it's going to be a real zoo there..."

Obligatory eye roll and groan.

"Holy crap, I didn't even do that on purpose!"

My girlfriend and I were grilling out, listening to Pandora. The song Some Nights came on and she said, "Oh, I saw them in concert."

My response. "I bet that was Fun."

It took her a few seconds before she shot me an evil glare.

She didn't have one- she just did it for the Halibut.

(Thought of that one while vacuuming listening to the Disney Pandora station, because that's what adults do)
