If you're someone who is invested in the idea of "crucible honor" then this build is not for you. This is the most fun build I've run in a while that's actually viable in endgame PVP.

The build really relies on three things: Ophidia Spathe, Le Monarque, and mid tree solar hunter.

Wait, how is Le Monarque a key part of this build, you may ask? Well the answer is simple. LM is one of the few weapons in the game that, for some reason, procs "The Burning Edge" on your subclass, which makes your dodge recharge faster (2s cooldown, I believe?) when enemies are burning.

So yes, if you shoot someone (head or body) with a poison arrow, you can dodge right after shooting and have the dodge back in two seconds because the enemy is "burning."

Okay that interaction is cool and all, but why Ophidia Spathe? Well the way this exotic works isn't your usual "get an additional melee charge," no. You see when you throw both melees, when they recharge (from dodge or passive cooldown) you get both charges, not just one.

This leads to a very fun gameplay loop where you can toss both melees, the burning recharges your dodge, you dodge and throw two more, dodge, repeat ad infinitum. The majority of my recent trials matches have had at least two instances of my teammates howling with laughter as I throw my 8th knife at the enemy team while I'm dodging over and over right in their faces because I get a dodge up every two seconds.

You shouldn't underestimate the knives, either. These things deal a long string of DoT like Le Monarque, which stops passive health regen and revives. Even on their own, they're pretty lethal. Since the fan of three knives actually get thrown in an arc one at a time, you can drag your mouse/reticle from right to left as you throw them to tighten the "spread" of the cone or even all the way down to a straight line. Hitting an enemy in the body with at least 5 of 6 knives will kill them immediately since it's 175 damage + the few ticks of burning in between throws. This is surprisingly easy.

I recommend giving the loadout a try! In fact LM+BB is such a strong combo because if the dodge recharge, I would even say go ahead and run any dodge-oriented exotic like Gemini Jester, Sixth Coyote, wormhusk, or even Bombardiers (could be fun to body with LM, dodge and explode a shotgun rusher).

I’ve been wanting this bag forever and even posted a W2C before as I never seen any post for this particular GG bag (maybe because its not as popular as LV Keepals) but I have my own reason why I really wanted this bag badly as my travel carry on bag. I have also searched the Gucci Boutiques around me but this is not available in my region and might take a while if I order it overseas (I am that desperate that my first choice is to buy it in auth and just prolly do a ref post)

I used to own an auth keepal 45 in Damier Graphite as my travel buddy but I just got fed up with it as its straps are so hard even after using it thru the years plus the main zippers are not very rough to open and close (God knows how much paper wax I used and LV boutique used to make it bearable).

So when I found this bag I was like no way! It opens up to halfway on both sides, having its own base shaper to maintain its shape and having a normal straps that I am dreaming of!

Anyways, I was able to cop one from Reykay and this is one of my best purchase so far.

Cannot tell any difference between the two. The logo looks a bit crooked but it looks crooked to me on the auth too so I think it’s just a trick of the eye. Interior embossing is shallow like the original. Happy to have this!

Introduction

I have always found it interesting when youtubers are reviewing a weapon in PVP, they used the gun first and then add some mods and armor. But when it comes to an exotic armor they also do the same. I feel sometimes this lead to not really showing off the full potential of the exotic gear. So I used OS (Ophidia Spathe) in Comp. NO GUN. ABILITIES ONLY. And this is what I came up with.

Everything I will explain here is based on the Explosive Knives and Tripmine grenade.

• Scissors Fingers

This perk grants 2 knives per charge. That's it. Not really appealing, right? I am going to change your mind. Give me sec. Keep in mind 2 knives = 1 kill AND 1 knife 1 Tripmine = 1kill (at least).

1. This is the only exotic that gives 2 melee 1 charge. Meaning for one charge that you can get the two knives back.
2. 3 knives per charge. When your melee is charging wait until it's almost full and use your knife and get back the other 2. So 1 on the ground 2 in your hand.
3. 4 knives 1 dodge. Use your 2 knives, Gambler's Dodge near an enemy to get 2 knives back. So 2 on the ground 2 in your hand.
4. 5 knives 1 dodge. You can guess how this one work.

Keep in mind that 1 knife is 105 free damage on the ground.

KNIVES OUT

• Defensively, you can use it as a Wormhusk or even Bakris. When your health gets low any respectful APE will push you to try to end your misery. But with the knives on the ground they will just eat them and die. It's a great way to stop enemy from pushing you. Smarter opponents will stop to shoot them. This will give you a short window to escape, heal, or make him pay.

• Offensively, It's also pretty good. APE cannot aim at you and the ground at the same time. Throw them somewhere the enemy might be. Midair your accuracy often decrease but it is hard to miss the two knives. You can hit and kill enemies behind covers.

The real power of OS lies beyond the fact that you can break the enemy momentum. You control how they can push you.

BUFF (MAYBYE)

OS is not OP. Here are some buff idea.

1. Increase throwing speeds of all knives.
2. Kill with a knife increase the damage of the second.
3. Increase blast radius, burn and crit hit.

Counter and Bugs

Antaeus Wards user don't get affected by them.

Sometimes the knives will explode too soon or not at all.

The knives will kill you if you are too close.

yesterday I opened a box of Arcane Rising and besides only containing 1 Majestic, I was lucky enough to get the Fabled card "Eye of Ophidia".

However, it is missing the fabled icon and also contains no sort of orange fabled diamond, or any way to mark the card as fabled.

Did I open some old stock? Is it fixed in the newer print runs?

Wow, I gotta say that I am SUPER impressed by the quality of this bag. The stitching is even throughout, the hardware is shiny and weighty, the canvas and webbing feel substantial. The leather smells and feels great. I'm not sure if the interior lining is silk like the authentic bag, but it feels silky and smooth. The zipper moves smoothly with no snagging or drag. The placement of the logo and webbing is centered.

- Leather: The grain on the leather looks exactly like the leather I've seen on Gucci bags from the Ophidia line. The color might be a smidge dark but not dark enough to be calloutable. -.5

- Canvas and Webbing: I think the canvas and webbing are spot-on. The logo is clear (but not too clear, ya know?) and the colors are correct.

- Measurements: The measurements are exact to the measurements provided by Gucci

I main top tree solar hunter with the ophidas spaeth chest piece for a extra prox knife melee and have allwase wondered who the piece was referring to.

This is a bit of a niche one as only solar hunters can use it but this exotic armor gives an extra max knife charge. I often find the ability to throw a 2nd explosive knife (read: fast activating sticky proximity mine) to be a valuable tool for holding a choke or doorway while reloading orcovering my back. I also find that it is great if you run out of ammo mid fight or need some extra aoe when someone is hiding around a corner and a grenade won't do it. Despite that amd the prevalance of GG hunters, I hardly ever see anyone use it. Does anyone have reasons to not use it other than another exotic is better?

Before you read any further OS (Ophidia Spathe) ornament is currently for sale for bright dust this week. The new design makes it a bit more attractive in my opinion. Since I might change you into a OS main after reading this so go check it out.
