Briefing:
The AAF have taken control of Altis and have begun terrorising the local population while restricting the travel off and on the island. With the help of a local PMC, we've managed to take control of the north western airfield and have spent a few hours stocking up the airfield. We have been tasked to take control of the remaining airfields among Altis to stop the AAF from using these airfields to keep control of Altis.
Enemy Forces:
AAF Forces are spread across the island and are considerably well armed. Expect plenty of ground and air vehicles.
Friendly Forces:
We have two C-130s, one set up for vehicle transport, one set for troop transport.
We have armed HMMWVs and M113s which will be dropped in via the C-130s.
We have logistics on the ground our main airfield providing resupply support.
We also have an A-10 in the air for support, callsign Perses.
We have a KC-135 Stratotanker on standby for aerial refuelling (there will be no refuelling options on the ground)
Civil/Terrain considerations:
Civilians should not be present in our AO however we will still be careful considering civilian infrastructure.
The terrain mostly open areas with a few urban towns.
Mission:
We will be taking the AAC Airfield, the airfield to the south east and Molos Airfield. Alongside these we will be clearing the surrounding areas of enemy combatants.
Our method of insert will be paradropping via C-130.

So I stumbled upon a fascinating video about the battle for Midway (Seen here: https://youtu.be/Bd8_vO5zrjo )
And it was fascinating. So then I thought "Wait isn't there a movie focused on Midway."
And there is.
But then my OCD brain kicked in and I was like... "Hey wait, what about all those other war movies you haven't seen... or haven't seen in a long time. What if we tackled them in some kind of order like the order they happened in the war..." so then I went down this insane deep dive and spent the last 3 hours making this list below.
I tried to put it in chronological order... which quickly became a shit show because many take place over many years and multiple battles.
So the final order is part chronological and part thematic... I did the best I could.

It’s time to talk about this ridiculous story that is constantly showing up on reddit, youtube, and popular star wars podcasts. They believe there is an ongoing battle within Lucasfilm between the Favreau/Filoni supporters, and Kennedy supporters. I’m not going to get into how ridiculous that is –I’m going to focus on the theory that Filoni/Favreau should supplant Kennedy as President.
Simply put, Kathleen Kennedy is a straight-up businessperson, and Filoni and Favreau are creatives. Kathleen Kennedy sits in meetings that are more likely to be about complex financing arrangements for film production than anything related to a Star Wars story/canon decision.
Favreau’s position currently is ideal – he works on Star Wars basically on his own schedule (unless they are actively shooting), he writes, brainstorms, and pushes creative star wars decisions and storylines. He is able to work on Marvel movies (both from an acting and creative standpoint), and other endeavors like The Chef Show, a passion project of his.
Kathleen Kennedy on the other hand is in every day at 9, and is jam packed with meetings about Lucasfilm business until probably late into the evening. People forget that she is a high-ranking executive at one of the largest publicly traded companies in the world. She has fiduciary duties that Favreau and Filoni have no interest in even learning about.
So you want Filoni and Favreau to run the Star Wars ship story wise. Great – THEY ARE ALREADY DOING THAT. Filoni is the Creative Director of Lucasfilm! Kennedy has clearly given them rein to lead the stories for many shows.
It’s time this sorry excuse for a conspiracy goes with 2021 into the past.
Edit: a few minor things because this blew up. First off, read the post: it is not defending Kennedy’s decisions. It is a critique of the idea Filoni/Favreau should run the company in her stead. That is a made up theory perpetuated by youtubers. It’s the Qanon of Star Wars fandom.
Edit 2: everyone yelling that Favreau has the skills to do the job should realize that making him President would put 50% of his time into negotiating financing, health care benefits, special effects deals with other studios, Lucasfilm real estate investments, and detailed reporting to the Board of Directors of Disney. Wouldn’t you prefer he spend his time writing, directing, and leading the creative team?
