Jeg har nu, to nætter i træk brugt 3+ timer på tønden. Sov 2,5 time i nat. Min afføring er efterhånden så tynd at man vride den ud af en klud - heldigt for mit røvhul svier som var der puttet tigerbalsam i det.

i’m generally very afraid of developing health conditions, but all of today i’ve just been petrified of stomach bugs or getting sick. i truly have no idea how to move past this. i know if i did get something (worst case scenario) i would survive and it would pass…. but i just can’t get over how awful it would feel. i just keep replaying horrible possibilities in my head.
I’m visiting my dads with 3 dogs and my fiancée. We stay in the camper next door to deal with the dogs running around so they aren’t too aggravating to my dad and stepmom. My stepmom messaged me yesterday morning that my little sister had been sick that night. Okay, well I thought we’d just wait it out staying in the camper. Then my fiancée got sick in the camper… so I felt I had nowhere to go. Home is 2.5-3 hours away. I blew up the air mattress and stayed in my dads house in the dining room. My stomach is bugging me but I didn’t even eat a whole meal yesterday, I was scared to eat. Still I am scared to eat but not eating is making me feel bad myself. I’m still scared what if I feel bad and it’s not from not eating? My parents feel fine. I’ve been disinfecting everything I touch. Will waiting til tomorrow to go home be safe with my fiancée in the car?
What were the results? How much did it help the nausea and/or v*miting?
The godawful virus is making the rounds where I live and I'm thankfully stocked up on Zofran due to a concussion earlier this year. It didn't do much for the nausea caused by my head injury, so I'm wondering if it'll touch the horrendous nausea that comes with a stomach virus like norovirus. If I feel sick I plan to take it EARLY to hopefully prevent things from escalating as I've heard that works best, but just curious if I should put all my eggs in that basket so to speak.

I bought apples earlier, the unpackaged ones in trays that you put in bags yourself. Now I'm kinda paranoid that people have been touching them and stuff.
There’s a possible noro outbreak sweeping through my work! What do I do? What can I do? I have to go to work I can’t afford not to!

I love the color schemes and the way that noro yarn works up, but i’ve heard that it tends to break easily and is a little on the scratchy/rough side. Does anyone have any experience with noro yarns or know of similar brands?
As we approach the season of stomach bugs, I wanted to give everyone a happy little reminder to calm you down when the inevitable "there's a nasty bug going around my town" posts start coming in.

#Norovirus (Stomach Virus) Facts
(1) Norovirus is NOT airborne. You cannot catch it from standing next to someone who has it, by breathing the same air as them, or even by walking past a literal pile of infected vomit. It is possible for it to become suspended in air for a few seconds if someone is violently ill (some particles can spray into the air), but this is a few seconds tops in VERY close quarters and is so unlikely it's a nonconcern.
(2) Norovirus is only contagious after symptoms have started. If you're with someone, they're fine, and then they go home and experience vomiting or diarrhea, there is no possible way that they could've gotten you sick. Again, it is only contagious after symptoms (vomiting or diarrhea) are present.
(3) You can only catch noro by orally ingesting viral particles. This is gross, just FYI. You can only catch the stomach virus by orally ingesting particles of infected vomit or diarrhea. This means if you wash your hands, practice good hygiene, and don't share food/drinks with actively or recently infected people, you will not get sick. No matter how "catchy" it is. Contaminated food and water is one of the most common origins of noro, so wash your produce and cook all food to temp (which I know you already do!), and don't drink sketchy water, and you'll be fine!
(4) Norovirus only actually affects your small intestine. The virus particles multiple in your small intestine, and that is where the infection occurs. That means vomiting (and diarrhea) does not actually help your body to expel virus, it's just your body's secondary response to infection while it fights off the virus. Because of this, it is not uncommon to catch norovirus and not experience upper digestive symptoms (aka, you can get noro and have diarrhea/feel unwell, without ever actually vomiting).
(5) The incubation period for noro is 12-48 hours. So within two days of exposure, symptoms will begin.
(6) A person is contagious for at least 24 hours after symptoms stop, sometimes longer. This is one of the reasons noro is so catchy-- people think they're over it, but they are still contagious. Poor hygiene (not washing their hands after potty) can lead to continued spread.

I've just gotten up to the end of the Davy Nack Fight, and Foxy's claims about his fruit stuck with me.
He says his Noro Noro beam works through Noro Photons, an atom unknown to scientists.
But would One Piece scientists, let alone random pirates, even know about photons and atoms? They're still mostly using regular sailing ships, and there seems to be a lot more feudally kind of kingdoms than actual citie, so I'm not sure if knowledge about those would be common.
Yesterday I came into work that afternoon as per usual and one of my coworker looked absolutely terrible. I asked her what was wrong out of concerned and she told me she had been sick since yesterday morning and before coming into work. V* and D*. Told me tenets in her apartment complex have been getting sick and now she was sick. She was sent home after waiting 30 minutes, struggling to do her job and handing out drinks to customers. I’m terrified of Noro. Had it years ago and I don’t want to catch it. I made sure to wash my hands and not touch my face. I didn’t come into contact with any fluids as she wasn’t actively sick while at work, but I did touch her hand a few times while she tried giving me cups to fulfill orders. Im just scared I’ll catch it and be a miserable for two days. I can’t afford two days off work. I’m trying so hard to not be scared and try to get some sleep but I won’t want to wake up hours later sick as a dog.
