One of my interests in getting a monitor lizard is how fast and active they can be especially when towards their feeding response. How does the Nile monitor fare in this compared to the other monitor lizard species?
Has anyone seen any invasive Nile monitor lizards on or around their property? I am looking to capture one, it's for a wildlife project and I would not be charging anything or want to be paid for catching it. PM me if you have come across these reptiles and would like to have them removed or have any info on possible locations.

So I just bought krill and quail eggs from an Asian market and was wondering how often I could feed these? I feed mostly insects everyday with a fuzzy mouse every 1-2 weeks all dusted. He is about 6-8 months old

Hello.. Needing some tips on how to keep my lizard hydrated!! He has good size water bowl to get into whenever he needs it. He eats only live crickets and pinky mice. He won't eat any other insect at the moment. Was gonna try dubia roaches next. He has a heat lamp a hide out and a log to climb on. Also have a green swing to climb on as well. Jus need some advice??!! Skin has wrinkles which I know that indicates He is dehydrated.
