guys. it's Saturday night and I'm bored and I'm having to stop myself falling into the trap of watching the film again.
I do this every time! I love the film and book more than anyone (except you guys) will ever understand but the film destroys me. I have this cycle where I'll watch the film, be absolutely devastated and heartbroken and feel depressed for weeks, thinking about it every single day. then I'll move on, feel better, and want to watch the film again, even though I know it'll hurt so much.
Does anyone else have a similar problem?

I went out with the intention to stay sober and drive my friends home but now I’m in a trap house kitchen polishing off our 2nd eight ball of the night.
It’s currently 4:50 AM where I’m at in Illinois. I’ve been almost 7 months sober. I went to a party with friends saying I’ll be the DD, but we always know how that goes. This feeling of pure disappointment, while wide eye’d, grinding my teeth, and waiting to hear the birds chirp, is something I’m way to familiar with. Fucking New Years eye, my resolution is always to have a sober year and 3 hours later I’m sniffing cocaine until I physically can’t snort any more.
Also, plz don’t feel bad for me, that is not my intention with this post. It’s something I’ve gotten used to dealing with, but no matter what it takes I’ll find my way back to sobriety and focus even more on not messing up like this again. Hopefully next time I can just say no to my friends.
