Unfunded liabilities like Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid are omitted from discussions about the MONSTROUS SIZE OF THE DEBT PICTURE.
An example of an unfunded government liability is Social Security.
There is not enough money paying in to everyone's retirement fund (Social Security) to pay out to those in retirement. THEREFORE WE HAVE NO CHOICE BUT TO STACK BECAUSE MORONS IN WASHINGTON, WHO KNOW THIS TO BE TRUE, DON'T FUCKING CARE. THEY RAID THE WALL STREET PRINTED MONEY & BUILD MANSIONS. Should we ignore it, try to pay it down, how?
Every time I hear about it the national debt being this much or that much I always wonder what’s evening happening about paying it off. It seems that the number only goes up.
And I just read that it’s nearly 30 trillion. I can’t even fathom a number that large let alone how it would be paid off.
Is it just a foregone conclusion that it won’t be paid off?
What if he became president long enough to pay off the national debt of Columbia? I know in the end he was a selfish guy but maybe he did it to stoke his own ego.
What would the economic consequences be?
Like i always hear it is a lot but Exactly how much?
