A list of puns related to "National Wrestling Hall of Fame and Museum"
>Hall and Nash will be inducted along with Hulk Hogan and Sean Waltman. The nWo has had many members during their run, and Graves asked Hall and Nash who they would like to see be inducted along with them. Hall named Eric Bischoff, who has given his reaction to the nWo's Hall of Fame announcement and discussed the idea of inducting the group, while Nash named Kevin Sullivan for booking the group into a top heel faction.
>
>"I guess maybe from a fan's point of view maybe they wouldn't agree but from somebody who was behind the curtain, I would think Easy-E," Bischoff said. "I would think Eric Bischoff because the whole thing was his idea, but I guess if you're a viewing fan, you don't see it that way. That's how I see it. I would have Bischoff up there with us."
>
>"I'd have Kevin Sullivan because though it was Eric's idea, Sullivan was the one β¦ that battled day in and day out to make sure they didn't take heat on us," Nash said. "Nobody got to the nWo. Sullivan always booked heat. He continued to book heat. His booking of that heat was what made the nWo."
>
>"I want to concur," Hall said. "Kevin Sullivan, who I'm a huge fan of, was what we called back in the day a heel booker."
As some of you know I am a regular at the George Tragos/ Lou Thesz Hall of Fame, and this week was our inductions and festivities. We had the Classic Tournament which had the likes of Shelton Benjamin, Pentagon, Shawn Strickland, ACH, and other in it but was won by Chuckie T in 3 decent matches.
We also had both American Alpha there for the appearance Friday. Jason signed most the night while Chad signed and got in the ring and cut a small promo, discussing how he is a former american alpha member now, then talking about how he chose the name Chad Gable and then surprised the crowd by bringing the hometown hero Dan Gable out. Dan put over pro wrestling and some of the old school amateurs that went into pro wrestling as well as Chad.
As always many legends came down for the wrestling show the night before to sign autographs and pose for pictures with fans. A lot of times its funny to me to see guys like B. Brian Blair charge more then guys like Big E charge. 20 bucks for a picture with Blair while a guy like Austin Aries would do a picture for free. 30 bucks for an 8x10 meanwhile Bob Backlund had them for 10.
BUT THE ULTIMATE CARNY JOB, was seen last night. Bruce Hart shows up and pulls out his folder of 8x10s and thats when i see it, hes got promo photos of Bret and Owen, all "signed". and hes selling them for 20 bucks a pop.... i mean i cant be sure that them all arent signed but how does bruce have damn near 20 year old photos by the hundreds of owen Signed? did owen really sit down one day and sign 100 photos for Bruce to go sell someday? and Bret?
But other than that it was an awesome time. Jim Ross was better than most years and not as grumpy to deal with, Sabu was late but he was pleasant, Shelton seemed like he had better things to do really but ah well. Very good time overall for the fans and the workers.
