A list of puns related to "National Taiwan University"
Morning, folks !
After a successful series in 2021, we're offering another one of our one credit hour online collaborative courses between TTU and the National Chengchi University. For this semester, we'll focus a bit more on the technologies that make up The Metaverse.
I've included some details below, and I'm happy to share the syllabus with anyone interested. Classes will take place on Zoom during our recording sessions, and I'll be hosting all of our content on Microsoft Teams. For the Zoom calls, you'll be required to leave "cameras on" for this one -- because we're trying to facilitate cultural exchanges along with our knowledge (and they want to see the people they're chatting with).
Even if you don't want the credit hour, you're still welcome to join as few or as many sessions as you'd like. Pop on in, and let's chat. =)

Hey I am planning an exchange year in either Taipei or Seoul. Hey Nadav :) This is Jonathan, I am an economics student in Germany planning an exchange student year abroad in the far east. While Seoul really sounds appealing to me due to their vibrant city life culture and cafes, arts and nightlife venues, I heard that koreans are rather xenophobic to expats(?). Also I want to focus to learn one asiatic language during my time there so maybe from a career perspective it would be βmore usefulβ to learn chinese instead of korean, making me lean towards Taipei (and ofc its βfriendly peopleβ and beautiful culture.
Hi. I'd like to ask for some ideas concerning the admission to NTU as an undergrad. I'm currently studying for a bachelor's degree in pharmacy and I'm planning to study the same one in taiwan. The thing is I'm holding both foreign and Taiwanese citizenships.
So, do I need to take GSAT or AST for applying NTU? If it is, please kindly guide me where I can find some references for study.
Additionally, I found this "Admission via senior high school recommendation" pathway from NTU school website for admission. And also heard that it is only for ones doing their language study. Is it possible to apply other bachelor's degree via this pathway?
Or, will there be any other ways for me to apply NTU?
Thanks a million in advance. :)
Helloo just wondering if there's anyone who's going to join NTU this September.
Im looking for some friends bcs im also an incoming freshman, you can comment / pm me :)
I have a Scholarship-Loan that will cover absolutely all the costs for this, my government will lend me the 50.000 USD I need to study at Sussex (Fees, acommodation, plane tickets, cost of living, etc) and I have a chance of obtaining up to an 80% pardon on this loan (but realistically is 40%), which means I will end up paying around 25k USD. This idea terrifies me a little, Im only 25 y/o tomorrow and even tho I was super excited about Sussex and Brighton, I think the debt is just way too much for me to handle in the future, specially in my local currency and considering it will be tied to the dollar's exchange rate, which could go up easily.
I just checked out the programme in National Taiwan University, I dont know if I will get accepted here but the difference is huge, just huge. To start, tuition is only 1.700 USD instad of 22.000 USD for Sussex, and the cost of living and everything else in general is also only a small portion of this, which brings down the total I would have to around 15k tops, or around 9k with the pardon. This is easily doable and I wouldnt even need the scholarship to do this (but its very prestigious in my country so I will still take it just for my CV).
My questions here are: is this a stupid decision? Is changing the literal best programme in the world (according to QS Rankings) for the #44 a ridiculous idea? Will it be much harder to find a job in the area like this? How much does this really matter?
Thanks for listening and hopefully for writing a recomendation, I promise I will read every word of it.
I have a friend who does not use reddit and wants to chat with someone who is in NTU. This is the text he wanted me to post.
Guys, Is there anyone who went to Taiwan as an exchange student or who is a university student there right now? I have some concerns about going to exchange at National Taiwan University.
This is where he wants people to reach him out:
