In May 2011 at the East Broad Top Railroad in Pennsylvania, I got to experience something I wanted to do my entire life. I drove a real, full size (narrow gauge) steam locomotive, under the watchful eye of a real engineer of course.

Best place to get American Narrow Gauge on30 in the UK?
Hi there! I really want to get into American Narrow Gauge in on30 and I was wondering where the best place to find locomotives at a reasonable price would be in the UK? Bachmann has a selection on their website for sadly way more than I can afford, but there's a handful on eBay for the Β£50 - Β£80 range that's much more reasonable! Does anyone know anywhere else I can find locos like this? (I love building model kits so on30 loco kit suggestions would also be welcome!)

Abandoned in the 1960s, the narrow-gauge railway network was like a spiderweb in Bekes county, Hungary, spanning over 150 km.
