A list of puns related to "Mr. Wrench and Mr. Numbers"
When the two hitmen found out in jail that Malvo killed Hess, there seems to be a look of recognition/retribution on Mr Numbers face or am I mistaken?
They even have their own awesome theme song.
I love them both in season 1, especially in one of their first scenes in which they drill a hole in a sheet of ice and throw someone in it without breaking a sweat. I love how this makes them seem professional and carelessly brutal.
In season 2 it also shows us the strong bond of them being childhood friends which just makes them even cooler and in season 3 hearing the theme song again in episode 8 just gave me goosebumps.
Didn't see any rules about translation requests, so hopefully I'm in the right place. I binge-watched all three seasons of Fargo this week and I was hoping someone might be willing to translate the signing in this clip. Thanks!

EDIT: Sorry, didn't occur to me that the link doesn't have captions. The signing starts at about 1:00
They were going to interrogate Lester then kill him, they wanted to know who Lorne Malvo is, but he escaped and then they went to jail with him, and being in jail with him gave them the oppurtunity to interrogate him, they got the information they wanted then left him, so they didn't kill him, obviously they didn't kill him because they're in a police station, but why were they gonna kill him but yet afterwards letting him live is no issue? If that's the case then what's the point of killing when they don't need to?
Don't forget episode one how good Nikki is with numbers
This has been bugging me since l first watch Fargo.l work in remote areas in Australia and OS, so have only ever watched the series in bits and pieces and have watched it twice now. Here in OZ the TV ads showed a scene briefly where Mr numbers and Wrench are shown laughing as they walk up behind a guy in a stocking mask ,l have never seen that scene so was wondering if someone could let me know what episode it was in so l can have a look at what l missed .thanks
Setting: A very dense forest located in Midwestern America. Each pair armed with weapons they used in each season.
Season one battling with season two. Thoughts?
I don't remember them or anyone else ever referring to themselves or each other by name in the show. Even when Molly is doing her crime board she refers to them as 'Deaf fella" and "Deaf fella's partner".
Haven't seen this one before, so thought I'd put the characters in the "Fargoverse" against each other. For all rounds assume Carl and Gaear lived to 2006 and have access to more modern tricks of their trade. Here are the three rounds:
Round 1: Running Man
Both teams are tasked with the same mission, find the Sam Hess's killer and exact revenge. Which team is able to deduce that Lorne Malvo is responsible? Which team has a better chance of killing him?
Round 2: I Fought the Law
The two teams have a pile of bodies building up around them and the law is on their respective tails. Marge Gunderson and Molly Solverson (I think we can assume their paths will cross during the investigation) have joined forces. Who can avoid these two officers of the law longer? Can either eliminate the officers or successfully escape?
Round 3: DEATHMATCH!
The teams have shacked up a quarter mile away from each other in the Minnesota woodlands. Both are aware of the others' positioning. Their cabins are equipped with typical hunting equipment. Who can defend their cabin better? Who can assault the other cabin more successfully? Who wins? Who dies?
That sweet drum set that plays whenever they're on screen doing something cool. Anyone have a link to it?
Like, maybe set right before s1. I just love those characters, and the actors that play them!
Am I the only one who REALLY wants this?
Honestly, I think it's only because I have a man-crush on Mr. Numbers. I just want MORE of these guys, they're so awesome. Anyone else?

Read: Vol. 1, chs. 11β12; pp. 60β70 (βhis alarms were needlessβ through to βprevented any renewal of itβ).
Mr. John Knightley, Mrs. Isabella Knightley, and their fiveΒ children arrive at Hartfield. Later in the day, Mr. Knightley dines with the party.
John and Isabella must leave Hartfield on the 27thΒ in order to be in London on the 28thΒ (see Modert, p. 57), and their visit is planned to be one of βten daysβ (vol. 1, ch. 11; p. 59). The weather is unfavourable for travel on the 26thΒ (βdays of confinementβ; vol. 1, ch. 17; p. 91), when the party may or may not have been planning to leave; therefore they must have arrived on the 17thΒ or 18th, counting the days of arrival and of departure as among the βten daysβ of the visit.
Note that the penultimate section (βFancy and Whimβ) contains spoilers.
This section gives us a broader view of the family dynamics that have been hinted at in previous chapters. Joe Bray notes that the description of Isabella Knightley that we are given in this section is one of those βoccasions when two characters are compared,β and an instance of βwell-regulated antitheses in Austenβs novelsβ (p. 129):
>the character to whom a newly-introduced character is being compared can be left implicit. Take the first lengthy description of the heroineβs elder sister in Emma: [quotes from βMrs. John Knightley was a pretty, elegant little womanβ to βevery old acquaintance,β vol. 1, ch. 11; p. 60].
As Mrs. John Knightley is compared here to Mr. Woodhouse there are some obvious parallels in grammatical structure. [β¦] The main, unstated, point of comparison though is with her younger sister. The narratorβs description of Isabellaβs manners as βgentleβ and βquietβ, and her disposition as βremarkably amiable and affectionateβ invites the reader to draw a contrast between her and her sister, as does, more positively for Emma, the characterization of Isabella as βnot a woman of strong understanding or any quicknessβ. In each case, the doubling pattern of adjective plus adjective or noun plus noun encourages the comparison between the two sisters, with the balance of the narr
