A list of puns related to "Noah Hawley"

The highlights:
His past works include Fargo and Legion.
It's also set before any of the movies. As the Xenomorphs were created in Ridley Scott's Prometheus/Alien Covenant movies (after the show), it's unclear what this means right now.
R. Scott had intended for more movies to complete his story and still wants this, but it's unclear if it will be completed at all now.
The Xenomorph to appear before having existed will require an elaborate narrative retcon on the show's part, such as the inclusion of time travel or some bizarre Space Jockey conspiracy.
This could also indicate the start of a new, separate 'Disney canon', similar to the divide they created in Star Wars, between Legends (a re-branding of everything pre-Disney) and Disney canon.
>Alien is a fascinating story because it's not just a monster movie; it’s about how we're trapped between the primordial past and the artificial intelligence of our future, where both trying to kill us. It’s set on Earth of the future. At this moment, I describe that as Edison versus Westinghouse versus Tesla. Someone’s going to monopolize electricity. We just don't know which one it is. In the movies, we have this Weyland-Yutani Corporation, which is clearly also developing artificial intelligence—but what if there are other companies trying to look at immortality in a different way, with cyborg enhancements or transhuman downloads? Which of those technologies is going to win?
I'm very interested to see how this turns out, and would love to hear your thoughts on it!!
I feel like everybody hated that show (admittedly it took some questionable twists and turns haha) but for the most part I really enjoyed it — at least season 1 and season 3.
I think Dan Stevens’ take on Legion was awesome. Even if they don’t adapt that same character (for obvious reasons) is there any chance we could get a softly-rebooted variant of Dan’s Legion?
I personally think we won’t but I would like to hear other marvel theorists take on this! Thanks!
Noah Hawley, showrunner of Fargo and Legion, was interviewed about his upcoming Alien series. It was not feature Ripley, but rather will be set on earth, and will deal with themes on wealth inequality. To quote:
> [Y]ou’re also going to see the people who are sending them. So you will see what happens when the inequality we’re struggling with now isn’t resolved. If we as a society can’t figure out how to prop each other up and spread the wealth, then what’s going to happen to us? There’s that great Sigourney Weaver line to Paul Reiser where she says, “I don’t know which species is worse. At least they don’t fuck each other over for a percentage.”
Unfortunately, some folks aren't too happy about the insertion of politics into a franchise that originated with a megacorporation exploiting blue-collar workers to profit off biological warfare.
Over at r/television:
"Class warfare with Xenomorphs.
Dear god that sounds tedious."
"Does not sound like Alien. Sounds like woke, commie trash."
Getting some mixed signals over at r/LV246:
["Why tf does everything have to be abt inequality? It's a fucking alien series. We don't want that social justice bs sh
Hawley was interviewed for Vanity Fair and when asked about Fargo he said this:
> I don't have it yet. I have pieces that will have to survive. They're not connected. I think it would be good to create an ending, and deliberately come to something, knowing it's the last one and see how one might wrap up this anthology. What's next for me, it looks like, is [an] Alien series for FX, taking on that franchise and those amazing films by Ridley Scott and James Cameron and David Fincher.
So it seems like season 5 could very well end up being the last season. He said that about season 3 possibly being the final season but then wrote season 4 so who knows but he seems like he is really interested in focusing on this Alien series. After season 5 it might be the last or at least the last Fargo for awhile.
