#Pluto-Charon
Consisting of the binary dwarf planets Pluto and Charon, and their four moons (Nix, Styx, Hydra and Kerberos), and known as the "Gateway to the K-Belt", the Pluto Cluster represents the largest bastion of "real civilization" beyond Neptune, and is the farthest-out point of the Solar System where EarthGov influence is at all meaningful.
The five largest settlements of the Pluto-Charon Cluster are New Horizons and Tombaugh on Pluto itself; the NΓΊrn Arcoplex (located in the dark region of Charon known as Mordor, and named after the fertile part of the regionβs fantasy namesake, mostly settled by Sinokiwis - individuals of mixed Chinese and New Zealander descent) and Kubrick City (built into the mountain, Kubrick Mons), on Charon; and Persephone, located at the barycenter of the Hades Bridge (more on that later). Collectively, the big three settlements house the majority of Pluto-Charonβs population of 100 million sophonts. Other prominent Plutonian and Charonian arcologies include Hayabusa, Pioneer City, The Vaderdome and Sputnik. The rest of the people living on Pluto and Charon reside in smaller settlements, of generally fewer than 100,000 people, and all settlements are connected by high-speed trains.
Like many Kuiper Belt worlds, Pluto-Charonβs population has large numbers of cyborgs, with most Plutonians having large numbers of implants and prosthetic augmentations. The distance from the sun has also led to the average Plutonian being quite pale in terms of pigmentation, even if many of the settlements of the region do have fusion lanterns and lights which provide enough light to provide daily doses of vitamin D. 21st century observers might find this strange, considering how many Plutonians and Charonians trace their ancestry to the Persian Gulf, Maldives, Southeast Asia and South Pacific; even K-Belters of African descent very often have vanilla-hued skin and sandy-blond hair. Though, of course, if you go the fully-prosthetic route, your skin can be any color you want, since youβd just be a brain in an android body. Though whatever cultural symbolism one might attach to dark skin, becomes more than a bit absurd after that point.
Anyway, the inefficiency of solar cells this far away from the sun means that the settlements on Pluto are powered by deuterium fusion (supplemented by helium and hydrogen imported from Neptune), with some additional power coming from geothermal energy beneath Pluto's slushy subsurface n

Bought in to GME on a lark at 25 because you autsists somehow convinced me investing in GameStop was going to make me money. Proceeded to watch as the price dropped to 15 and was resigned to the fact that I'd lost money listening to Reddit morons memeing.
