Iβve said it before and Iβll say it again, every time you join and take part of a new project it is pertinent that you DYOR [Do Your Own Research] and ensure that youβre safe. With that said, I hope you like the project as much as I do. Thanks for your time and have a nice day.
Binance Smart Chain (BSC) is a blockchain network built for running smart contract-based applications. BSC runs in parallel with Binanceβs native Binance Chain (BC), which allows users to get the best of both worlds: the high transaction capacity of BC and the smart contract functionality of BSC.
There is maybe a 1/16β crack around the edge. Iβve been duct taping it but wanna do something permanent. Itβs an old boat- donβt know if the hatch is available and if they are theyβre pretty expensive. Could I use caulk to seal it. Itβs OK if I canβt open the hatch I just donβt want water to get in. Thanks very much in advance
Looking for my first kayak. I want something stable that has stand up room as well as a removal center sonar pod for a fish finder. I have pretty much narrowed it down to these 2-3 based on what my not so local shops have available. Iβve done my YouTube research and what I have gathered is theyβre basically the same but the big fish is slower and heavier. Want to stay around the $800 price point. Anyone have experience with either? Other suggestions? Thanks!
I am hung up on deciding between these two kayaks. Anyone with real life experience with the two of them on here and willing to give some insight?
What other things have you heard mispronounced? My da always called a handbag a hambeg and i grew up thinking thats how it was spelt + said.
Also says digical instead of digital
Hey all,
First post on the sub. I've been watching for awhile and am ready to buy my first kayak, but I'm stuck between two choices and am hoping you can offer your thoughts.
Background:
I am a 5 foot 8 inch tall male, 155 lb.
Looking for around a 12 ft kayak, sit on top. Has to have molded in rod holders, a hatch, and plenty of storage room. I also want to be able to stand. No rudder or pdl drive needed.
I'll be fishing mostly on lakes and calmer rivers. I'll be taking trips where I camp for up to a week, sometimes on islands or hard to reach areas. Therefore, the kayak must be able to hold all of my supplies while to get to my site. I will be unloading them to fish though. I may have to row for up to a few miles to get to the site, so I would prefer a bit of mobility.
My budget is up to $1200 for the kayak. Both the kayaks I am leaning towards seem to fit my criteria.
Old Town topwater 12 - $1000 I like that this one has a forward facing rod holder and is American made. Seems to have decent storage but the hatch looks pretty small. I hear good things about the seat.
Feelfree Moken 12.5 v2 - $800 This one looks like it has a bit more storage, a larger hatch, and is less expensive. No forward facing rod holder. It looks a bit sleeker and the length might make paddling easier.
So, any thoughts you have on the brands, specific kayaks, or anything else would be greatly appreciated! I'm really enjoying the sub so far and am itching to get out there.
Hey all, Iβm in the market to upgrade from my Field and Stream Eagle Talon. Have been eying both of these yaks as options due to price point, frame seat, and spacious layout/storage options. What are yalls thoughts on the 2?
Which one would you recommend for a first owned fishing kayak. I have been kayak fishing beforeγ
Whatβs the cheapest stand up kayak I could get?
I mention the gravity seat because I like the adjustability but it also makes it very expensive. Iβm trying to stay under 1k$.
I am thinking about buying the feel free 12.5 moken kayak. I would fish the ocean (only a few hundred yards away from the beaches though) and bays. Where I am the current can get somewhat strong. Is it worth spending the extra money on a rudder?
