Mishti Puns

First off, I am not Indian. But I have a friend who is and is coming off a bout of COVID. I want to get her some Mishti Indian sweets to celebrate when she tests negative and gets her sense of smell and taste back. Just want to give her a little yummy comfort.

I definitely am not a baker and it seems like an intense bake.

Are there any Indian sweet shops that folks might recommend for high quality Mishti?

Thinking about just going to Vik’s Chaat and seeing what they have but… want to know if anyone has recs based on experience.

Also, I think Mishti are more South Indian… shes of Punjabi heritage. Punjabi bakeries would be great too! Any recommendations would be helpful honestly. She’s a foodie.
