So, I was thinking about how the season could end. I know some people feel like the most recent episodes are weaker compared to the first half, and while I might not agree with every complaint posted, I do get it. However, I feel like if the season has a satisfying payoff, then a lot of those issues can be forgiven. If the destination is great, then the weaker parts of the journey tend to be forgiven. Think of it like going to a movie: you're stuck behind some of the dumbest drivers on the face of the Earth, but once you're in the movie, sitting down, things get a whole lot better. That sort of thing.

So, as the title suggests, a big part of this theory relies heavily on the term "Milkshake Duck." For those of you unaware, it was a phrase coined by the Twitter user "pixelatedboat." The general idea of this is an Internet phenomena that takes people by storm and is much beloved, but something happens or new information comes out that causes this phenomena to go from beloved to hated almost overnight. To quote the original tweet:

"The whole internet loves Milkshake Duck, a lovely duck that drinks milkshakes! 5 seconds later We regret to inform you the duck is racist"

There are a bunch of examples of articles and such detailing examples, and I'd recommend googling them (it's interesting stuff), but you get the gist.

Now, what does that have to do with Young Justice? Well, Gar's whole thing is about trying to gain notoriety on social media in order to inspire others. Social media seems to be a big theme of this half of the season. In addition, the general public are aware of Brion's activities with the Outsiders, as he was recognized on at least one occasion. So far, the movement seems to be going well. However, this here is Young Justice we're talking about. We've seen before the heroes' plans going to shit (Kaldur "killing" Artemis and having her go undercover went to Hell when M'gann fucked his brain). Having Tara be the one to betray the Outsiders/Team is too easy, but that's not the main focus. The general idea is who actually will betray the group, at least based on my theory.

Both Brion and Gar will end up working with the Light, but different reasons.

Brion, being manipulated by Jace (I think everyone's certain she's got some shady shit going on) willingly goes to the Light after having so many people like Violet and Tara (and maybe Dick, if he knows about Tara and is using it to his advantage) lie to him. Meanwhile, Gar still has the Goode shi
