A list of puns related to "Mike Tomlin"
Three 8-8 seasons, and has secured at least an 8-8-1 record this year.
Withe firing of the Texan Head Coach David Culley HCMT is the only remaining Head Coach *that is black.
8-9, and the Steelers are one-and-done and allowed their opponent to score at least 42 points the last three times they have reached the playoffs.
In 2007, 2011, 2014, 2017, 2020 and 2021.
He has still yet to win a playoff game in 5 years. He's gone one-and-done in every postseason appearance since 2017.
Tomlin also now has a losing record in the postseason (8-9).
Heβs gotta at least be a top 10 coach since 2010. What say you?
Almost without question, he is a Hall of Fame coach. Good luck finding a better man for the job.
Here is the all-time leaderboard of winning percentage for NFL head coaches with a minimum of 150 games coached. Mike Tomlin is #8, Bill Cowher is #12, and Chuck Noll is #28.
Even if you look at playoff success, there are only a small handful of coaches who clearly have a stronger record (Belichick, Walsh, Gibbs, Noll, and Seifert). He is really, really good (and he's still incredibly young - only a few years older than Andy Reid was when he started coaching).
EDIT: And for all of you Belichick lovers out there, just remember - Belichick was a month older than Tomlin is now when he won his first SB ring. So at the same age, he had coached 2 playoff games (1-1) in 6+ seasons, no rings, and had a career .464 winning percentage. If MT wants another 20 years, I predict he has a real chance to go down as the GOAT.

Mike Tomlin became the Pittsburgh Steelers head coach in 2007. Due to the NFLβs rotating schedule, the Steelers were supposed to play the Vikings in Minnesota in 2013. However, that game was instead chosen as one of the London games that season. So the Steelers have not played in Minnesota since 2005, when Bill Cowher was still head coach
A friend asked me this today. I had a hard time deciding.
This is obviously more about Tomlin and Harbaugh than Stefanski and Taylor who are only in their 2nd and 3rd years. The fact that Tomlin and Harbaugh have been coaching in the same division since the end of WWII and have 1 losing season between them is just unfair.
