A list of puns related to "Microsoft Narrator"
Ok so Microsoft did an update on my computer last week. After that, the voice of the NVDA suddenly changed to the narrator voice of the Microsoft. I realized that this sounds better than the robotic voice of what NVDA have. I don't have eloquence. Then yesterday, there was an update again. After that, the voice of the NVDA went back to the robotic voice which I don't like. I'm trying to figure out how can I set it back to the narrator voice of the Microsoft. I tried to change the setting on the NVDA menu but I can't find the narrator voice option. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!
I'm thinking about replacing my iPad Air with Microsoft surface tablet, I've heard good things about narrator becoming more accessible and the NVDA is usable on the touchscreen.
Being completely blind, I'm relying on voice-over for everything, so if anyone has used Microsoft narrator or NVDA with the touchscreen, I'd be grateful to hear your thoughts.
I will transcribe what people or the narrator says in cds, audios and videos into a Microsoft Word type document for Β£10 for a 30 minute audio or video file.
Has anyone used the narrator (Read Aloud) feature of Microsoft Edge to read out hanzi? If so, what do you think of the voices? There are several, including the new "natural" ones. I would like to know what Chinese speakers think of them in comparison to native speakers. Thanks...
Isn't it?
I have a friend that is totally blind and uses the screen readers in the title to access web pages and programs. uTorrent and BitTorrent used to be accessible with these programs, but are no longer.
Can anyone suggest a Torrent client that is accessible with those screen readers?
Thank you,
EDIT: I misunderstood my friends request. It is the INSTALLERS of those torrent clients that is inaccessible. He doesn't know if the programs themselves are. But he can't install either because his readers can't interpret the dialog of the installers. So, he needs to know what torrent clients include accessible INSTALLERS. The programs themselves of course, would also have to be accessible.
As part of the Epic vs Apple court case, some internal "Microsoft Confidential" reports found their way online. Within one report, the Microsoft Global Gaming Partnership & Development (GGPD) team reviewed TLOU2 as part of an update for Microsoft executives.
[Here's the source PDF] (https://storage.courtlistener.com/recap/gov.uscourts.cand.364265/gov.uscourts.cand.364265.551.21.pdf). I've pasted the text below; the authors appear to be Mike Mace and Jon Katz of the Microsoft (Xbox) GGPD Portfolio Team.
The Last of Us Part II, like its predecessor, is first and foremost a narrative-adventure game. This is unlike Naughty Dog's other key franchise Uncharted, where the narrative, while very well told, is there more to service the action-adventure gameplay.
While there is plenty of stealth action gameplay in The Last of Us Part II, the game's primary purpose is to immerse the player in the interactive narrative. The game pushes this idea even further than its predecessor by incorporating a number of extended "walking simulator" style narrative chapters. These play out much like the first game's stand-alone expansion chapter Left Behind. While these may not be what many garners are expecting, they are exceptionally well done and really show what other games, especially pure narrative adventure games, should be aspiring to accomplish with their character dialogue, presentation and voice acting.
In order to achieve the detail and believability of the character interaction and dialogue in the game Naughty Dog has made a clear choice to sacrifice much of the player's agency in the story in favor of fixed outcomes in order to achieve the highest production values. That the player doesn't have the ability to greatly influence or determine the outcome of the narrative might prove anathema to many players and how they view their role in the video game experience. However, we would argue that not every video game must be about the player roleplaying their character's story. The medium of interactive entertainment also needs games that drive stories where you are participating more in the capacity of an active "observer," just like other mediums of entertainment, otherwise we're going to be locked into a limited number of stories to tell.
The game's narrative attempts to tell an emotionally relevant story of revenge and its moral and emotional impact on the lives of the people involved, while at the same time trying to create a consistently engaging inter

I've started to notice what appears to be a strange trend with Xbox, Game Publishers, and engagement with Sales Promos (or in extreme cases even publishing to the platform). It's more than a little interesting to me, I'm hoping someone has insight in what in the factors contributing here.
I own multiple platforms and actively track the same games for sales across all of them via XBDeals, PS Prices, and Deku Deals. One of the neat things those websites provide is insight into historical sale engagement by the publishers (check out the graphs mid-page and isolate digital deals from each platform's respective storefront). I'm also one of those weirdos that double or triple-dips on games (it's some weird hang-up on "collecting" the game on each platform, I wait for significant sales to round out my digital game libraries over time) - so I just happen to be informally monitoring sale activity across platforms for that reason.
There's also a general sentiment in Xbox subreddits that games included in their periodic sales are either lacking in breadth and/or percent discount. I'm not sure on the latter piece, but know anecdotally that there is merit to the former. This resonates particularly well when compared against publisher engagement in Playstation sales events.
So, a few examples for the sake of discussion. Check out activity on a few titles across platforms:
The Messenger (Developed by Sabotage Studio, Co-Published by Sabotage Studio & Devolver Digital)
Levelhead (Developed by Butterscotch Shenanigans, Published by Butterscotch Shenanigans)
There also seems to be a trend where publishers elect not to publish to Xbox entirely. Examples here are like the phenomenal Transistor by Supergiant Games and amazing **Spelunky 2 by M

I labeled this as 'Possible DD' since there is a lot technical information relating to Loopring, but also a lot of speculative analysis on competition. Is it more discussion worthy? Should it instead of the 'Opinion' flair? I don't know. I'm happy to change it to whatever

###Superior technology
While any decentralized blockchain solution should go head-to-head with any other blockchain when it comes to transparency, the biggest advantage that LR has over other solutions comes in its efficiency and user-accessibility qualities. LR is able to boast the fastest speeds in transactions per second, as well as having the cheapest costs--the latter of which also needs to be broken down, as it itself has many competitive advantages. For any blockchain-based marketplace to succeed to become a top 1000 company, it needs to have its scalability issues completely in check. Any company looking to become the dominant leader in this business should expect its marketplace at some point to challenge the efficiency and scalability of the underlying system--there are many blockchain-based solutions that fail (or will fail) when it comes to mass adoption.
User-accessibility relates to both costs of using the product / marketplace as well as the costs of getting new clients / customers. Whereas some of the previous technological categories

>Halo Infinite multiplayer is truly a love letter to old school shooters and a proper return to the qualities that originally made the series famous. Whether you are looking for smaller, more organised, matches or all-out warfare with vehicles, you have a lot to enjoy in this game.

>The Master Chief's latest adventure feels very solid and has quickly become one of my favorite titles of the year. It is difficult to find FPS with better sensations at the controls than those that Halo Infinite has transmitted to me. From its gunplay, through its artificial intelligence, its performance and of course its spectacular sound section. Without a doubt, an adventure designed for the enjoyment of the player.

Together with u/_Exordium, I have vastly upgraded, updated and improved my original FAQ to include terms and concepts that have been missing for some time. There have been massive rewrites, corrections and additions throughout. I feel this is now completely up to date, though I hope to come back to it frequently to ensure it stays that way. I see this as a fantastic jumping off point for explaining GME and the situation surrounding it, though I do not intend for this to substitute the DD in any way, shape or form. #We all have to start somewhereβ¦

#What are you even talking about? (Community jargon and shorthand)
Over the last year, of swapping theories, data, and memes, a certain language has developed amongst the community. Below is a short list of some of the shorthand to get you started in understanding the communityβs terminology:

Don't get me wrong there are definitely some customer support jobs that are available but a lot of those have been turned over to other countries for 24-7 availability.
Most if not all remote employees I work with are either very skilled employees or veteran employees who have earned respect and trust to work from home.
The idea that you can get a WFH job and just be paid to be lazy is insulting to people who actually want or do work hard WFH.
The remote listings are now being flooded with scams because and people will fall for fake jobs and then the narrative will be "WFH are scams".
I truly believe a lot if not most jobs can be done with Zoom and Microsoft Teams. Sending an email to someone 5 feet from you or 30 miles gets there in the same amount of time. Not to mention the benefits of having less cars on the road.
Do your worst!

>In the end though itβs hard to fault what 343 Industries has accomplished with Halo Infinite. Itβs very much the spiritual successor it purports to be -- with forward thinking design and elements that flow in a way that reminds you of the timeless nature of the fluid, stylish combat of old. The lack of co-op is something you feel, but in terms of cinematic spectacle this is the Master Chief carrying the flag once more for Xbox. Albeit in that new-school form of being able to jump in and, well, play anywhere.
