A list of puns related to "MathType"
Hi,
anyone with experience doing maths exams through canvas quiz (still crazy to me that thats seen as a legitimate way to set a maths exam) able to answer a question about typing maths into canvas quiz. For Intermediate Macro (virtually all maths) we have to do this, and I was planning to have a bank of questions written out in a word doc, ready to copy across to Canvas when doing the exam. Will that work with formatting? Or will Canvas quiz mess it all around? We have not been provided with any practice answer boxes, nor do I have experience doing this before so would greatly appreciate any help.
Cheers
WIRIS says that there will not be a new version of MathType for macOS Catalina/BigSur "for the foreseeable future." Their current solution of a Microsoft Word add-in doesn't meet my needs:
I feel stuck. I don't see MathType on a Mac being a viable solution for years (if ever). Yet, I have hundreds of worksheets, presentations and assessments that contain the old MathType equations that I have to use my Windows laptop to access. I can't edit or create them on my school-issued MacBook.
Are you considering dropping MathType? What will you use instead?
I love Mathtype. I'd pay $100 for Mathtype 7. But I don't want to pay $50 a year for it. What do you think?
Evening everyone,
I'm taking a calculus class online, and to submit my assignments I have to use MathType to show my work, which is then copied into a word document and then submitted. I find that during my assignments I get slowed down because for every symbol or notation I have to stop typing, search through all the buttons on the click menu to find what I need, enter it, then return to the keyboard to type whatever other number. Are any of you guys familiar with this program and are there any tips and tricks to make it a bit more intuitive to use? I'd appreciate the help!
Hello, I am a sighted person who works with blind and visually impaired people to help produce accessible books. I am interested in learning more about producing accessible math content that can be easily converted to .brf. Does anybody have experience converting math to braille? We have tried Duxbury, but the trial version does not allow us to save our content and it is too expensive to purchase. Is there any other cheap or free software that produces reliable math .brf files when converted from another file type? I'd appreciate any and all responses very much!
