So i met this korean guy on a dating site, he didn't tell me until we had been talking for about 3 days that he was in the korean military. He had the sad backstory going on. He's from busan didn't know his birth parents raised in an orphanage and he had foster parents, they were kinda shitty. Went to dongcheon highschool. Got a scholarship to BNUE because he was good at sports. Told me about the mandatory service you have to do in korea if you were born there. And that he will be finish in another month and plans to see me ππ I forgot the name he told me, but it was legit. He said he's not really supposed to take pictures or videochat, he's always on the nightshift thats how he talks to me. I did a reverse search of the images they came up on one place. And it was a site where people share pictures of themselves in december. I confronted him about being a catfish and a scammer and i told him how affectionate he was, he doesn't videochat etc. He told me if i can't understand his circumstances and dont trust him. Why do i continue to talk to him. I said bye then. So its been a few months. And he texted me again "hey" the conversation was stiff we tried to work out the issue and why i thought he was catfish. Im so confused. I don't know if this is just a korean eager to marry before 30? Or a scammer? He hasn't asked me for money or anything like they usually do. Anybody have experience.
