A list of puns related to "M20 recoilless rifle"
Anyone have an M20 75mm recoilless rifle just sitting around? I need one for hunting small game and maybe a deer. On second thought, I'll find a 155mm Howitzer for the deer.
Willing to pay about three fiddy.
Carl Gustaf 20mm recoilless rifle, formal name Pansarvรคrnsgevรคr m/42 or Pvg m/42 ("Antitank rifle model 1942") . It was in service since 1942 so it was used in WW2 for sure.
We've already had Ag m/42, this gun is one of potential content that Dice lost a chance to add it.

I was watching some military history tiktoks the other day and came across one detailing the recoilless rifles of World War II. If you're not familiar, basically it's a MASSIVE caliber rifle designed in such a way that the gasses from firing are shunted out the back of the weapon, cancelling the recoil. This means that a single infantryman (or pair, usually there's a loader) can effectively counter many armored vehicles. You can see a modern version in the link below:

Now, I don't think the technology itself would be that surprising to extraterrestial intelligence. Odds are some form of kinetic weaponry would exist out there beyond the good ol' Sol system. What I think might be surprising to any erstwhile extra-solar visitors is that humanity has so engrained the concept that a single soldier should to be able to at least disable anything they encounter, even if it's a multi-ton armored fighting vehicle, into their psyche. From a certain point of view, it's illogical - tanks counter tanks. Infantry are squishy. But hey, it's a near universal belief among humans that an individual or small group of individuals (depending on cultural background) can and should defeat any obstacle.
And the the fact that sometimes it's true is what scares everybody else.
Currently I have enough money for only 1 choice. All seems good but in which order should I buy first ?
