Pevensie siblings house sortings?

What do people think their houses should be? Usually I see most people doing:

Peter=Griffindor

Susan=Ravenclaw

Edmund=Slytherin

Lucy=Hufflepuf

but I disagree with these. They all have qualities that could put them in multiple houses. Personally I would sort them as (if they all had to be in separate houses) :

Peter=Hufflepuf

Susan=Slytherin

Edmund=Ravenclaw (slytherin)

Lucy=Griffindor

Any thoughts?

What’s your ranking of the Eternals from β€œstrongest” to β€œβ€β€β€weakest”””””

I think most of them had great powers and im only considering what we were shown in the movie..knowing that some of these people have powers that haven’t been fully exposed yet.

The list is also subject to changes so yeah.

1: Ikaris

I mean, pretty obvious. The movie sets it to be that way. Even the other Eternals comment about it. He can fly, he’s strong and no matter how much the others tried to restrain him, he still was stronger

2: Thena

Again, pretty obvious. She’s the goddess of war, according to the movie (and sprite’s cheesy speech). She’s agile, her weapons are great and we’ve seen she could easily take the others down if she wanted to.

3: Druig.

I know, i may be biased but think about it. He is one of the β€œphilosophers” of the eternals, not necessarily a fighter but his powers are INSANE. He was the one chosen to put Tiamut to sleep first and he can put to sleep the other Eternals too so his power go beyond being able to control humans. Also, even then, he could potentially control every single person on the planet if he wanted to…his mind is definitely powerful and not to be underestimated.

4: Gilgamesh.

What a pity we lost him so early. I dont need to explain WHY he’s actually super strong cause i mean, the movie shows it itself. He died to benefit Thena’s character development..that’s it.

5: Makkari

Ive seen people say she’s not powerful cause all she can do is run super fast but hello??? She literally beat the crap out of Ikaris by herself and she helped fighting the deviants too.. she’s awesome.

6: Kingo

He’s so cool and the powerballs he shoots are definitely interesting. He’s ranked this low cause unfortunately we haven’t seen him do much in the battle against Ikaris and the Emergence but i’m curious to see what’s next.

7: Phastos

This man is a cooler version of Scribblenauts Unlimited. He can invent so many things and while he isnt physically as strong as the others, his powers are indeed useful to the other Eternals and well humanity.

8: Sersi

Now, i know she was the one who stopped the Emergence but unless guided by the Unimind she is not THAT strong. Dont get me wrong i adore her power, i think it’s super cool but she herself said se can’t really transform living beings (a part from the deviant) so idk how useful that may be..we’ll see!

9: Ajak

She’s the equivalent of Lucy Pevensie in Narnia. She doesn’t fight, she can heal. It’s not a bad power by any means, she’s just not as strong as her fellows…

10: Sprite

Ten years ago, I discovered Narnia. I hope I never have to go back.

We all have that one movie from our childhood that we ended up watching every holiday season.

In my case, that movie was The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. As a kid growing up with dysfunctional parents, the idea of escaping into a fantasy world of magic, whimsy and adventure was understandably appealing, especially around Christmas time when they felt obligated to pretend as though they didn’t despise each other.

I couldn’t have been older than eight when I saw dad hit mom for the first time. I think it came as more of a shock to me than it did to her. To my knowledge, that was the first time the old man had actually followed through on one of his threats. I remember quietly excusing myself from the dinner table and going back upstairs. I’m fairly certain neither of them noticed my absence--they were far too preoccupied with their annual shouting match to care.

I spent the remainder of that Christmas Eve in my bedroom, crying my eyes out as per usual. After a while, the yelling ceased and I heard the front door slamming shut. Knowing my father, he had probably gone out to look for a pub that was still open. As for mom; I could already picture her rummaging through the wine cabinet. She almost never came up to check on me, which was probably for the best. The last thing I wanted was for her to see me like this; it would have only made her even more upset at dad, and I obviously lacked the emotional maturity to offer her much comfort.

As I grew tired of sobbing into my pillow, I reached towards my nightlight; but just as I was about to turn it off, the door to my closet suddenly and quite eerily creaked open. A shiver ran up my spine, both from the menacing groaning of its hinges and the inexplicable drop in temperature.

I gripped the edges of my blanket and held my breath. The wooden door continued to sway, nudged ajar by gusts of cold air. The mysterious draft looked as though it came from somewhere within the cramped, built-in space. It howled as it passed through the gap and into my bedroom, carrying it with it what looked like… flakes of snow?

Fear turned to curiosity. Donned in pajamas and armed with nothing but a pink blanket, I cautiously approached the closet. My breath had become visible by the time I reached the half open door. I wrapped my small fingers around its handle and, in a single motion, swung it wide open.

I couldn’t believe it.

As I hastily pushed past the unremarkable assortment of coats and sweate

SERIOUS: This subreddit needs to understand what a "dad joke" really means.

I don't want to step on anybody's toes here, but the amount of non-dad jokes here in this subreddit really annoys me. First of all, dad jokes CAN be NSFW, it clearly says so in the sub rules. Secondly, it doesn't automatically make it a dad joke if it's from a conversation between you and your child. Most importantly, the jokes that your CHILDREN tell YOU are not dad jokes. The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. They are stupid plays on words, lame puns and so on. There has to be a clever pun or wordplay for it to be considered a dad joke.

Again, to all the fellow dads, I apologise if I'm sounding too harsh. But I just needed to get it off my chest.

Connor NEEDS to educate himself on the political minutia of the Dream SMP Lore before he gets cancelled

Hi connor, i'm kinda a big nerd when it comes to the Dream SMP and therefore am happy to give you all the information you need on whats going on on the internets 3rd favorite survival multiplayer server.

Peter, Susan, Edmund, and Lucy Pevensie are four siblings sent to live in the country with the eccentric Professor Kirke during World War II. The children explore the house on a rainy day and Lucy, the youngest, finds an enormous wardrobe. Lucy steps inside and finds herself in a strange, snowy wood. Lucy encounters the Faun Tumnus, who is surprised to meet a human girl. Tumnus tells Lucy that she has entered Narnia, a different world. Tumnus invites Lucy to tea, and she accepts. Lucy and Tumnus have a wonderful tea, but the faun bursts into tears and confesses that he is a servant of the evil White Witch. The Witch has enchanted Narnia so that it is always winter and never Christmas. Tumnus explains that he has been enlisted to capture human beings. Lucy implores Tumnus to release her, and he agrees.

Lucy exits Narnia and eagerly tells her siblings about her adventure in the wardrobe. They do not believe her, however. Lucy's siblings insist that Lucy was only gone for seconds and not for hours as she claims. When the Pevensie children look in the back of the wardrobe they see that it is an ordinary piece of furniture. Edmund teases Lucy mercilessly about her imaginary country until one day when he sees her vanishing into the wardrobe. Edmund follows Lucy and finds himself in Narnia as well. He does not see Lucy, and instead meets the White Witch that Tumnus told Lucy about. The Witch Witch introduces herself to Edmund as the Queen of Narnia. The Witch feeds Edmund enchanted Turkish Delight, which gives Edmund an insatiable desire for the dessert. The Witch uses Edmund's greed and gluttony to convince Edmund to bring back his siblings to meet her.

On the way back to the lamppost, the border between Narnia and our world, Edmund meets Lucy. Lucy tells Edmund about the White Witch. Edmund denies any connection between the Witch and the Queen. All Edmund can think about is his desire for the Turkish Delight. Lucy and Edmund return to Peter and Susan, back in their own world. Lucy relies on Edmund to support her story about Narnia, but Edmund spitefully tells Peter and Susan that it is a silly story. Peter and Susan are worried that Lucy is insane so they talk to Professor Kirke. The Professor shocks Peter and Susan by arguing that Lucy is telling the

Why Susan not coming to Aslan's country is not problematic

Activists and Lewis detractors like to point to the part in the Last Battle where Susan is mentioned to be interested in lipstick, nylons and invitations, with some even claiming she was thus bound for hell. Lol, what books were you people reading? I know what us people were reading, so allow me, the craziest person of all Archenland to explain why Susan's not returning to Aslan's country in the Last Battle is not problematic, and why it's actually foreshadowed throughout the series and in Susan's own character.

We see throughout the series that Susan views her siblings as somewhat like her children and fancies herself a mum type figure. She even tries to talk like a grownup towards Lucy and Edmund all the time.

We see this in Prince Caspian, where Susan is the longest holdout when Lucy sees Aslan, even when Peter seams to be a bit on board later on. yes peter doubted Lucy, but not for as long as Susan did.

After Prince Caspian, she always talks about Narnia as a silly childhood game that they played when they were children, even despite the older brother Peter still believing in Narnia and the much older Professor Kirk and Lady Polly retaining their beliefs in Narnia.

Polly herself makes a perfect statement explaining Susan's attitude. (paraphrasing from the Focus on the Family version, which is my exposure to the series): "She spent all her life trying to reach a certain age and will spend the rest of her life trying to stay that age."

What Polly is saying is that Susan her whole life wanted to be a young good looking adult (presumably about 20 years old), and for the rest of her life she wants to be in her early 20's. In an effort to do this, she lost her imagination and her ability to believe in things that weren't always right in front of her. I actually do not believe at all that Aslan telling her and Peter they couldn't return had anything to do with why she didn't return to Aslan's country after LB, but rather she may have unconsciously used that statement as justification for her treating Narnia as a game of pretend.

As a result, Susan stayed on Earth and presumably lived a full life. What became of her is unknown as Lewis died before he could write the story he intended to about Susan's journey post PC. We know though that she didn't go to hell (which would be Tash's country) even if you believed Narnia as a Christian story outside of allegory (I won't get into that here as that's neither here nor there for this post).

So to su
