Hi all, I’m facing a unique situation with work. In a few months, I will be reporting more frequently to my office in Thousand Oaks (4x/week) but will have to be on-site in La Verne (1x/week). Obviously a place with shorter commute to TO is preferred. But still not unreasonable to La Verne. My work is open to paying for hotel if a longer stay in La Verne is required.

I’ve lived in Glendora for the past year and would prefer a place more representative of LA.

I’m a mid-20s guy who enjoys all types of activities/food/culture and the outdoors. I make above average salary (90k) but not looking to break the bank on rent.

Any advice on living locations? I’ve considered Ventura (not LA I know) due to cheaper rent, great weather, but only because my work would pay for a hotel for travel. However, I’m not sure living in Glendora is LA living and I would want to experience that.
