Serious rant: Lorenzo Insigne
So we all know the situation around Insigne. His contract is gonna end next year and the parties don't seem to have find an agreement yet. But putting the contractual situation aside, let's talk a minute about Insigne on the field.
Like seriously what is going on with him? Since the Euro win with Italy he has been trash. Losing the ball multiple times per games, no sign of his usual creativity at all and no goals apart from penalties. The only thing he is good at is being angry at Spalletti after he substitutes him for being absolutely horseshit. Now let me ask you something. Does this guy deserve a bigger paycheck seeing how he is performing?
Coming back to his contract. This guy has been acting like a clown all season long and I'm gonna explain why. He goes in interviews telling everyone that he only is focused on the field and doesn't even think in the slightest about his contract, but then every time there is a possibility (most of the times before international breaks) his agent comes out taking shots at the club. This is so disrespectful towards his own squad, the club and us fans. I mean we have to remember, this guy is our captain. He is supposed to be an example for everyone on and off the field. Yet this season he has been everything but a leader.
I'm sick and tired of this guy and I hope he either gets his shit together, or fucks off to whatever club he wants to go.
