A list of puns related to "Lone wolf (trait)"
Hi everyone, new player here.
Ive just finished the 1st part (coming down from the sinking ships). I read about lone wolf and interested to have those traits. I have not invite any character to join the party, but idk how to activate the the lone wolf traits.
Thank you :)
Independent/Lone Wolf are traits gained by spending time in an enemy province, somewhere around 10-15 turns at minimum from what I can tell. It provides 10% campaign movement and strider at max rank.
I know Beastmen and likely other hordes can get it, from personal experience of a run before the twisted and the twilight and a screenshot of another user after.
I know Bretonnia can get it because they have a different trait, I believe it is 2 stages instead of 3.
I would really love proof if available if you have it of Lone Wolf on a faction that isn't a horde or Bretonnia on a save file later than said Hunter and Beast dlc, that's one of the advantages of a site like this we can mass crowdsource something that is very obscure.
I don't know if it's possible to get this trait still, I don't know if it's an undocumented change that never went in the patchnotes or just a bug.
There is perhaps unsurprisingly very little information on this trait in general but it does seem at least in the past to have been bugged. Thank you for any possible help!
I know this is a kinda dry and boring subject but I would really appreciate help with visibility on this topic, I figure someone somewhere knows and I would love to find them!
Edit: Here is Lone Wolf maxed out on Malagor, and the negative version of the trait in a mouseover of Khazrak who has the 2nd tier on the positive side for 6% movement.
Usually you speak of lone wolf about someone that would rather be left alone and do stuff on their own and be independent, but this doesn't make sense, wolves are pack animals and one wolf being lonely is almost guaranteed it will die, in nature usually a wolf that is alone either is sick a weak and was left to die or is actively looking a new pack to join, either case is not a situation a wolf would want to be in.
I want to do an ironman lone wolf playthrough and I'm wonderingwhat the best trait combo is, thanks :)
Thanks in advance
Iβm seriously considering doing a lone wolf 100 day run in Nightmare.
What are the best skills and traits I should aim for in my 1 character (Red Talon or normal)
Red Talon - ? Normal - ?
Any tips or advice on how to survive?
I am about to start a new lone wolf campaign and i am just curious about if a drunkard lone wolf can lose items with drunkard event.
I hate drunkard trait especially in endgame when i run around with lots of famed gear, it always feels like to have a ticking bomb with me so i always avoid to lose more then 7 bros in order to avoid one of my bros gonna be drunkard and also never recruit one.
But i am just curious about if Lone Wolf can participate event that you lost some items since he is not participating some of the negative events.
Do you guys play with drunkard Lone Wolf ever? Does this event happend to you? A huge drunkard bro with a 2h famed axe or hammer sounds very exciting.
Appreciate for any help!
Hello Everyone, I just updated the perfect seed finder tool to be able to look for lone wolf stats and traits as well! =D
Now you can try to find an OP lonewolf in an amazing map. Enjoy!

Who am I?:
CoD player (on PC) since it came out. I mainly play TDM/domination and focus on objective type modes. I have casual crossplay console friends in Modern Warfare/Cold War now and sometimes I hook up with them but apparently, BF:2042 may not support cross play at all.
From what I know on BF, it's team based and relys heavily on friend support. Not sure if it's suited for solo players like me being a random in lobbies with clans.
Cheers.
Hello all! I completed the 4 legacies in Lethal and now I'm finishing my 100 days/4 maps clear playthrough. I'm thinking about trying a One Survivor Lethal playthrough, here's what I was thinking:
I rolled a survivor with "Indefatigable" and "Expert traveller" traits; good stamina boost and -40% fatigue, +10 light carrying limit, and Encouragment Hero bonus; no 5th skill. This should allow me to alternate espresso shots and radio calls to make up for, well, not sleeping! The +10 on light encumberance will allow me to get a Discipline-like boost while picking Stealth for quick looting and sneaky gameplay. I was thinking to rely on the Red Talon Officer Quarters for the +2 labor boost to build my base (and hopefully some enclave's labor benefit). Bloater granades and Road flares/firecrackers for Pleague hearts. I was thinking to get Powerhouse for the feral dropkick, Stealth, Swordplay and Sharpshooting (probably Gunslinging is better, I usually avoid It cause it feels OP but maybe for a solo I could choose It?).
What do you think? Any advise to share? Any flaw on the plan? π
Also, what 5th skill would you recommend for a lonely, lonely survivor?
Thanks!
Here's a question that was boggling me for YEARS. Surprised that nobody, nobody ever discussed this on the internet.
Think of vintage MoH's (Allied Assault, Frontline, Vanguard...). You start off with missions that are packed with both enemies and frendlies. You feel like a line soldier in the WW2. Storm Omaha Beach, fight a great battle. Finish 2-3 (max.) missions like this, enjoy the game.
Next thing you know, you are singlehandedly taking over a bunker, destroying tanks all by yourself and escaping in a comical fashion every time. As the cherry on top, you never have more than 3 allies, who probably die throughout the mission and leaving just you for the end.
Same with CoD's such as CoD1, CoD2 and such, after some point game gets wacky and makes you infiltrate bases or do weird stuff all by yourself, or a maximum of 3-5 friendlies.
Never knew why there was always a lone-wolf espionage sequence going on, ALWAYS. Anybody have an opinion on this, or can explain why the hell is this a thing? That would be a great favor for me, I've been wondering this since I was a child, for at least 16 years now.
Boy was this a long a frustrating journey. Came back to try out the DLC's and extra stuff added and wanted to try an solo honour mode run, as i have finished a duo lone wolf one before. These were the challenges and things I learned along the way, if someone here would also try the same thing.
Character creation:
My first try was with an elf marksman/summoner. I stacked strenght so I would be able to get a deathfog barrel cheese.
Second, third, fourth and final was with human battlecleric (Necro, warfare, hydro and geo in that order). Also stacked enough strenght with stew, enourage and bedroll would make me able to do the barrel cheese.
Ship/tutorial:
Every run I would start a fight in the ship to get level 2 before the ship chapter is done, as I would always aim for asap level 4 for fort joy.
Chapter 1:
This being the hardest chapter, but also there are nothing (that I encountered) that could instakill me like in the later chapters.
It was possible to get to almost level 4 with mostly just fetch quest (remember to get the yarrow flower for the dad), and unlocking areas.
Most fights that were difficult I would just kill one, flee and rejoin.
Alexander fight is super easy with the deathfog barrel, just have to be careful you dont get teleported into it yourself by the metemorph (easily countered by fortify or sneaking).
Get your bloodrose potion for extra stats
Was around level 9 when I finished the chapter.
During the boat battle, I swapped all my skills to scoundrel for max movement speed, teleported dallis close to the ballistas on the other side of the boat, and killing her in the next turn.
Chapter 2:
This is where things gets hard as the instakills is more prevalent, and where I died twice. Once to Hannags lava and second to the seed of power people who one shot me.
Get the idol of rebirth by stealing or kissing.
By running around and gathering way points to get exp and getting to the advocate to get the first source point and forcing him to talk about voidwoken (persuasion 5) to get even more exp.
Second source point was gotten through the mordus fight, was around level 11.
The level 18 troll was killed early with the poison plant and using fire to make a chain reaction of explosions without aggroing it. Important to go into combat before he dies to the reaction to get the exp and ring.
The witch was killed by teleporting her once via spell and instantly with a scroll to Jahan.
Chapter 3:
Because I saved the paladin from
... keep reading on reddit β‘I've been exploring an idea where this line from canon actually has another meaning. The North and Dorne both treat their bastards differently they do in the other kingdoms. Some of it may be due to the influence of the Andal Seven worshipping faith, which the North and Dorne have lesser of.
But when it comes to the North, I think there is more to it. Harsh winters and hard lands would mean that bastards would act less as a dishonor on a house and more like an insurance policy in case of a bad winter wiping out the trueborn family. We see this briefly with the Hornwoods.
Perhaps, this saying is for the Stark family that has a castle with piped hot water running through it. Here, the threats are external and the Snows are always the first line of defence. So when the Snows fall and the white winds blow, the lone wolf (a Snow) dies but the pack survives.
Moreover we see this historically in other instances as well. Torrhen Stark was about to bend the knee but Brandon Snow was ready with three Weirwood arrows to kill Aegon's dragons.
And when Torrhen chose to bend the knee, Brandon Snow left with the second sons of the Northern houses to form the Company of the Rose in Essos so that if the North was betrayed by the dragons, the bloodlines of the North would be safe. This is my assumption but still makes for a compelling argument.
Another instance of this being more of a First Men custom is Brynden Rivers standing by his trueborn sibling Daeron Targaryen during the first Blackfyre rebellion despite him being legitimised. There are other reasons as well but this theory seems to fit with that example so I'm going to use it for now.
This is why I think the North treats bastards differently than the other kingdoms. One, they act as insurance policy and second, can act as protectors for their trueborn siblings.
I drove by Lone wolf today and all the windows were covered up with cardboard. Was in a hurry and couldn't stop to see if there was a sign explaining why. Are they permanently closed?
I always thought that I can do anything by myself if I put in more effort...but I notice that people who lack in any skills/abilities take help from their friends or families to get the job done without much stress, and it's less time consuming too. I don't invest anything in the people in my life, and I'm always at the mindset of I don't need their help. But now I'm thinking it's not that bad, like to get help from someone, in that way I can see for myself which mindset serves me the most.
So how does one ask for help anyways? I always feel bad for disturbing someone's time and would always criticize myself for not trying to do it on my own, it's such a dilemma :(
Not only that, I'm noticing that I'm very bad at communicating with people, whether it be in speech or text, I'm very bad. I listen well, that's the only good thing about me being so introverted and passive. This whole lone wolf mindset is making me more introverted, introspective and self-criticizing, so any ideas on how I can be less introverted and more open with the people around me?
Any tips for communicating more, being less introverted, how to take charge when you have a responsibility and how to grab any opportunities that comes in my way?

My last time asking for advice convinced me to try it and it's fascinating but obviously requires very different play. So what is that play?
Especially given the lack of detection and anti-air.
-So, anti air: There's no trick to this, is there?. Blaze, Rattlesnake and Cannonball are just unable, right?
-Cloaked/burrowed: Tychus can sort of detect with grenades (in that the dead bodies are visible). I haven't tried it yet but does Blaze's oil spill reveal cloaked units? Cannonball can slam them, I guess. Rattlesnake is, again, totally unable, along with Sam? Nux, Vega and Sirius have detection.
And Nikara exists.
So far at low levels Tychus is a beast and Sam does a lot of work (unless they are cloaked/burrowed I guess), Nux storms are great but he's a little fragile when relying on the rifle. I'm really looking forward to Sirius as a general purpose unit. Vega has obvious applicability. I can't wait to unlock all three medivacs. Rattlesnake can defend against ground attack waves without cloaked/burrowed units but can't really push at defenses because of those limits.
Useful trick I found is that the Odin doesn't count as an outlaw for the purposes of the prestige and can fight right with them without interfering with the bonus. Also the range they have to stay apart is surprisingly small. On Scythe of Amon attacking from even slightly different directions kept them far enough apart.
So what are your best tips? Who are your favourite outlaws for this prestige? What upgrades do you prioritize? Gear or attack/armor? How about masteries down the road?
After about 10 attempts I finally finished the game on Lethal mode while doing Lone Wolf. If you're not familiar Lone Wolf means that you exile your other two characters as soon as the game starts and complete the whole game with one character. It's brutally hard because of fatigue and even more so because lethal mode is ridiculous.
I was hoping to find somebody with Just Keeps Going because that trait is really good for lone wolf with its fatigue bonuses. I ended up settling for someone with Workaholic to get the +1 labor so I can upgrade my facilities better. I ended up training her in medicine and then pathology. Luckily she had the Pulled All Nighters trait which ended up giving me some fatigue bonuses anyway. Her hero bonus was useless as it was party planning with +4 morale.
Somebody on here in my last lone wolf post gave me some great advice - try to build out posts as close to plague hearts as possible and I use that for probably 60% of them. The rest of them were close enough to an outpost facility to do that. I forgot that as you continue to destroy plague hearts each one gets tougher. So I kind of hurt myself by taking out the easy ones first and leaving the ones without an outpost nearby last. If I had to do it over again I would have done it the other way around.
Most of the plague hearts I took out using a heavy weapon with 100% impact level. It took six or seven swings to get it to the first pulsing, four swings to get it to the second pulsing, and another six or seven to kill it. I had my stealth at 100% and would take my swings and sneak out if I could and then come back to finish it. I never got the plague researchers quest so I was never able to manufacture scent block. Which made it harder.
My character is a warlord which means I had to kill about 12 humans to finish out the legacy. Humans on lethal mode are incredibly tough. But I got lucky because I brought ferals to the first human enclave and didn't have to do anything. I also got lucky that the game put the final enclave at the hospital on drucker and it was already an infestation. So I only had to personally kill two of the three people.
One of the quirks of Warlord is that you have to have a second person at your base in order to start the two Coalition final quests. There's no way around this. If you don't have a second person to tell you that you have a visitor, The informant quest never starts. and if you don't have a second person to tell you that they know where the

What are some of the best traits for Lone Wolf start?
So yeah people consider me to be a lone wolf i guess. If you don't know what a lone wold trait is its when a person doesn't belong to a group and does thing by himself. I don't know if its a good trait, some of my friends have told me its a good trait but i really don't know? Do you have any experiences with people who have this trait or if you have it how do you handle it?
