UPDATE: Shams thinks this is a season-ender
>Sources: Denver forward Michael Porter Jr. is expected to miss the remainder of the season due to back surgery. Tough blow, but with Porterโs five-year extension kicking in next season, he and the Nuggets take big-picture approach to his health.

>Surgery will be Wednesday, Bartelstein said. Porter Jr., made a full recovery from a back procedure prior to NBA, and that's expected to be case again. Denver starts a 7-game trip in Miami tonight. Nuggets (9-10) have been without three max players: Murray, Jokic and Porter.

Iโm a chubby short guy (5'6โ / 1.70 mts) so Iโve always have had some body issues. Two years ago i got a beard transplant and the next year I got another one (I have a lot of hair on the top of my head) and I feel like I get more hit on by guys and my confidence has boosted like a lot.
Whatโs your opinion about this kind of procedures ?
So, Iโm getting top surgery on Thursday, and I couldnโt be more excited. However, this is my first ever surgery (aside from getting my wisdom teeth removed which doesnโt even really count lol), and Iโm starting to get a little anxious about the whole process.
My biggest concern is intubation. If you donโt know that term, itโs when they stick a big tube down your throat and into your windpipe to help you breathe while under general anesthesia (I think). The thought of it gives me so much anxiety. Like, a tube? Down my throat? You know how many horror stories Iโve heard about doctors/nurses putting it in the wrong place and the patient suffers horrible complications (lung collapse, uvula damage)? Also, I heard that youโre awake when they remove it???? Literally the most terrifying thing Iโve ever heard.
Does anyone recall it being as horrible as Iโm telling myself itโll be? Were you awake when they removed it?? Or am I totally overreacting and wonโt remember a thing about it because of the anesthesia?
Heading back into my GYN & Surgery rotations, and I really want to better understand certain procedures so that I have better questions afterward or can follow what steps they're taking through the procedure. What resources do y'all use for this?
I've been having this (bartime) discussion with some friends and keep running into good arguments on both ends.
Considering MtF, people will usually bring up the fact that hormones are noncomplete (breasts don't develop fully, etc.) and even a little bit more dangerous. I usually get cinched here: if not doing SRS, capacity of orgasm is greatly reduced if doing hormones "till the end".
On the other end, surgery let's you keep your O's, but won't help you in the "fat redistribution" area (curviness depends on getting a great butt done, etc.). Also, it's (compared to a hormonal procedure) super fast (breasts done in a week, etc.)
Anyways, this is Superman vs. Batman discussion material here (mostly rhetoric), but would like to know what's your opinion.
Cheers! /Oph
Microsoftยฎ Excelยฎ for Microsoft 365 MSO (Version 2111 Build 16.0.14701.20254) - Desktop use, Beginner level
The sheet layout:
Sheet 1: Contains all inventoried supplies
Sheet 2: Contains generic list of procedures performed and what supplies are used during those procedures normally
Sheet 3: Contains daily record of procedures performed
Scenario:
On Monday, Dr. J performs procedure A on 2 patients and procedure B on 1 patient, which is recorded on Sheet #3.
Based on the information in Sheet #2, procedure A usually uses two widgets and four rockets while Procedure B uses one widget, one rocket, and two clamps.
Problem/Goal:
I am looking for the right formula or process that might take the procedure record from Sheet 3 and deduct the supplies listed in Sheet 2 from the inventory list in Sheet 1.

I had settled on radiesse injections into the jaw line but the clinic I went to said I'd benefit more from a PDO thread lift. I'm conflicted because the lift would help with sagging but I'm not sure if it will actually give me a proper jaw. As I understand it, thread lift only lasts 6 months while radiesse lasts 12 to 16 months (with touch ups).
Looking for suggestions as to the best route to take to get some of my jaw back, contour my bottom face a bit and minimize those jowls.
Hi r/plasticsurgery! Long time lurker, first time to post. Iโm (40/f) into plastic surgery. Iโve had 7 surgical procedures: 2 rhino (2005,2018), 2 breast augmentation (2004,2014), hairline lowering (2014), BBL 360 lipo (abs, flanks, arms, inner thigh), BBL fat transfer to rear (2019). Approx $100k.
So here I am, a technology professional in Silicon Valley, married for 13yrs with 2 kids. Im nobody. Iโm not into social media, other than Reddit. I somehow avoided the toxic pull of Snapchat and TikTok. And I never learned photo editing or filters. In that way, Iโm old school. If I want to look different, I get a procedure to look different. I canโt even open the door to filters and Facetuning because it would make me crazy about how unattractive I am versus the filters. Which leads me to the topic of surgical results and a lack of understanding with regards to expectations and outcomes.
This weekend, during a conversation with my (40/f) friend (46/f) we were talking about pandemic impact on our body and she said something about how firm my ass is after my BBL. and Iโm like โwhat? No. No, no, no.โ People do NOT understand the difference between real surgical outcomes and photoshop.
Letโs start at the beginning. The Brazilian butt lift (BBL) is a combination of 2 procedures: 1/liposuction and 2/fat transfer. The best candidates have excess fat on flanks and love handles. The liposuction in that area will reveal/create a waist which visually raises the butt. Visually the most significant impact of the Brazilian butt lift is from the 360 liposuction and not necessarily from the fat transfer into the buttocks or hips. I want people to understand that because you may not need to inject all the removed fat because tapering your waist alone will make a huge impact on how your backside appears. Now, to the fat transfer. I wanted a fuller, bigger ass. I didnโt really think about how Iโm adding globs of fat over muscle. So, now I have the shape I want but my ass is just as dimpled and jiggly as ever. Thatโs because I have elastic, stretchy, cellulite prone skin. Adding fat is just adding more fat. Thicker skin could give a better result by providing structure for the fat. Now my stomach is defined with light abs from the lipo and my booty does not match that fitness aesthetic while undressed. Great shape wear is the solution. My PSA: a BBL does not give you a firm, perky rear. Donโt confuse filters and photoshop with realistic surgical outcomes.
This may sound really dumb but i wanna look the best i possibly can, what are some non surgical procedures i can do under the age of 18?
I am not a regular user of benzos. Actually this is the first time. It's been 4 hours and I feel no effects from it. I actually can't tell what it even did. Is it safe to have some beers with dinner? Google has mixed advice on the issue. Some say it's fine others say wait 2 days.
A friend of mine had PRK eye surgery, and they gave her the post-op instructions for your standard Lasik procedure which were incorrect and insufficient for the procedure she had done. Sheโs in a lot of pain as a result and the doc office is telling her that the video she watched prior to the procedure should have been enough. Trying to find out if there is any kind of recourse here should their in attention to detail having a lasting effect on her vision.
I'd like to play a Vivisectionist who can give permanent bonuses(and likely penalties as well) to other PCs through one or more sessions of alchemical surgery. Are there any resources for this sort of thing or would I have to homebrew?
Don't ask me what it is unless you are willing to part with ยฃ1000 lol
Would cost ยฃ2000 to know how I discovered it.

I'm looking for the most bang for my buck. Looking for suggestions as to the best route to take to get some of my jaw back and minimize those jowls.
