A list of puns related to "List of songs recorded by One Direction"
Hi, r/TheBeatles! Lately, I've been getting interested in music history as well as the Beatles. This has spurred yet a third interest in a chronological Beatles list. That is, a list of all songs recorded by any member of the Beatles. I'm talking Beatles, Quarrymen, Plastic Ono, solo works, Travelling Wilburys, Wings, any song in which at least one member of the Beatles had a significant part in writing. I want to be able to listen through all their work through the years and try to hear the evolution of their sound/lyrics/etc. Does a list like this exist, or shall I make my own and link it here?
EDIT: I made the playlist- https://open.spotify.com/playlist/4O44DJqOGZuidLbqdS4YnK?si=hYxXw_ksTv6WiFUr9xLHIQ
Quarrymen, Beatles, solo works, Wings, Traveling Wilburys, Plastic Ono, Fireman. Be warned; it's a little messy.

Hey all! Welcome back. This one didn't take to long to put together but I've been working on another little side project that's been keeping me busy. The history of Canadian rock and roll guitar riffs. Should have it up in a few days. As it's rather niche, I probably won't post it here on Reddit, but you can always look for it on my Youtube channel in the next week or so if you care to check it out.
My thoughts on the solo are included at the end of the video if you care to stick around and check that out. Hope you like it. Included is a short history on the birth of guitar distortion as well.
That's it for this week. Thanks as always for watching this old fart play guitar every week. Nice to be closing in on half way with this little project of mine.

Anais Mitchell composed and recorded a concept album/ folk opera called Hadestown (based on the myth of Orfeus and Eurydice) back in 2010, and it will open on Broadway this spring. One of the showstopping songs is Why Do We Build The Wall, sung by Hades, king of the Underworld:

The lyrics are prophetic:
[HADES] Why do we build the wall, My children, my children? Why do we build the wall?
[COMPANY] Why do we build the wall? We build the wall to keep us free Thatβs why we build the wall We build the wall to keep us free
[HADES] How does the wall keep us free, My children, my children? How does the wall keep us free?
[COMPANY] How does the wall keep us free? The wall keeps out the enemy And we build the wall to keep us free Thatβs why we build the wall We build the wall to keep us free
[HADES] Who do we call the enemy, My children, my children? Who do we call the enemy?
[COMPANY] Who do we call the enemy? The enemy is poverty And the wall keeps out the enemy And we build the wall to keep us free Thatβs why we build the wall We build the wall to keep us free
[HADES] Because we have and they have not, My children, my children Because they want what we have got
[COMPANY] Because we have and they have not Because they want what we have got The enemy is poverty And the wall keeps out the enemy And we build the wall to keep us free Thatβs why we build the wall We build the wall to keep us free
[HADES] What do we have that they should want, My children, my children? What do we have that they should want?
[EURYDICE] What do we have that they should want? We have a wall to work upon We have work and they have none
[HADES] And our work is never done! My children, my children! And the war is never won
[HADES and COMPANY] The enemy is poverty And the wall keeps out the enemy And we build the wall to keep us free Thatβs why we build the wall We build the wall to keep us free We build the wall to keep us free...
I thought I was like the biggest RHCP fan in the world, but somehow I never knew about the Out in L. A. album until recently and now Iβm curious about what else Iβm missing. Is there a master list somewhere or can we maybe create one together?

So, my sister Julie told me two days ago about a song that Carly Rae Jepsen co-wrote and recorded for Emotion that was ultimately abandoned by her and recorded by the K-pop group f(x) instead. The song's called "When I'm Alone", and it's a fucking bop. It's yet another amazing song from that period that makes you wonder why she didn't put in on the album.
Before I really got into music, I was kind of blown away to find out that sometimes an artist doesn't like a song that they made and it's given or sold to another to perform. And sometimes that song's so great you wonder to yourself, "Why the hell didn't they like it?"
The first time I came across this sort of thing was when I found out that Patti Smith's "Because the Night" was originally made by Bruce Springsteen during his recording sessions for Darkness on the Edge of Town. What are some of your favorite cast off songs?
All the songs like Johnny and marmalade, just as long as their officially recorded and made under the soad name. Can someone give me a complete list of every song? If memory serves well it should be over 20 but I can't remember
