I remember this as one of the last truly funny, original bits on the show. I remember Librarian Booker and Legs Akimbo, but the rest of the names escape me.

This bugs me tremendously.

It would start out with a certain number of contestants. Everyone is given the name of a fictional* item, and they all have to design something based on that name and list its functions. A panel of judges would score the contestants on creativity, functionality, how closely it matches the name of the item, etc. The person with the lowest score is eliminated each round until there's only one person left, and that person is the winner.

*By fictional, I mean the item doesn't exist, and there's no concept design for the item, not that the item appears in fiction.

So what I find ~interesting~ is that folklore/evermore are the albums that Taylor really shows off her storytelling talents by shifting the focus from herself to either fictional stories or notable people in her life. However, this is hardly the first time she's done this. Sure, folklore is the first album where this is the MAIN THEME, but there are plenty other examples across her discography that do this exact same thing. AND THEY'RE JUST AS AMAZING.

Anyways, I decided to make a list of these songs. Some of them there is doubt on the actual meaning/subjects, so I will verify which ones have been confirmed and which still have speculations around.

1. Tied Together With A Smile (Debut) --> CONFIRMED, about a friend of Taylor's
2. Mary's Song (Debut) --> CONFIRMED, about Taylor's neighbors
3. Speak Now (Speak Now) --> CONFIRMED, sprung from a conversation with her friend about interrupting an exes wedding. Still kind of based in reality since Taylor claimed to have a dream about this situation, but I decided it was fictional enough since it never happened.
4. Stay Stay Stay (Red) --> CONFIRMED, the hidden message is "daydreaming of real love" and is more of a fantasy rather than something that happened in her real life
5. Starlight (Red) --> CONFIRMED, about Bobby and Ethel Kennedy
6. You Are In Love (1989) --> CONFIRMED, about Lena Dunham and Jack Antonoff
7. It's Nice To Have A Friend (Lover) --> UNCONFIRMED, Taylor hasn't said much about the song and there's been speculation whether it's about just friendship or something more. Due to its romantic undertones and the difference between the song's storyline and her and Joe's storyline, it's safe to assume the song may be fictional.
8. the 1 (folklore) --> UNCONFIRMED, Taylor has said that there are some references to how she's doing in life, but the main concept of the song has not yet been determined. Theories range from her and Calvin Harris, Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber, or something completely fictional
9. cardigan (folklore) --> CONFIRMED, betty's POV of the teenage love triangle. HOWEVER, there is some speculation of the origin of the song and whether some of lyrics represent parts of Taylor's life
10. the last great American dynasty (folklore) --> CONFIRMED, about Rebekah Harkness, the late owner of one of Taylor's houses, Holiday House in Rhode Island
11. exile (folklore) --> UNCONFIRMED, there aren't really a lot of theories surrounding this song--it seems to

And if there isn't any, how could I make up good sounding ones? I'm just having trouble finding specific roots for their clades and whatnot.

At least in the classic rock world, there is an abundance of music celebrating being a teenage boy from the perspective of older men looking back on their youth. It was schlocky sentimental music for an imagined past that may as well have been Narnia to Millennial teens. Though my memories may be inaccurate at this point, the contemporary music about being in school (or the teenage experience in general) also missed the mark: either it was too emo (negatively sentimental, as it were) or was specific to a subculture where I wasn't a member.

However, the one album that has stuck with me since then is The Ultimate Party Collection, Vol. 1 by Sick Animation. One of the older boys in the marching band loved to drive our section to and from lunch breaks blasting Mammaries and Cammarys in his Dodge minivan. Once I discovered the full album, I was hooked. It is joyfully bizarre, irreverent, and obscene—the exact combination of emotions that characterized my best memories from high school. Much of the lyrical content can be generated by taking x-rated tropes of teen comedy movies and then applying them in the most galaxy-brained manner to Saved by the Bell. Of course, I wouldn't have admitted to this being my favorite album while still a high schooler, but this is probably the album that has risen the most in my favorites over time. It grew from being cringy music I listened to ironically because it was funny to music I genuinely enjoy because it's hilarious.

I'm trying to pick my current favorite song, but there are too many contenders. May as well make a list of what I consider my modern best-of from this album of 58 tracks.

This post started out as an effort to explore the idea of Tricameral legislatures — a legislative branch with three chambers, instead of one (Unicameral) or two (Bicameral) — but the second half could easily be called List of Fictional Chambers of Congress because we decided to explore what that third chamber might look like.

If so, is there any evidence for and against it? What would be the general consensus amongst biblical scholars?
