I hate Aaron Boone more than pretty much anyone and think he should be gone, but there is a lot of luck that goes into the postseason and the Yankees just don’t have it in recent years. Part of it could be Boone but there are teams who had shitty regular seasons who routinely make it to the LCS.

The Undisputed List of War Criminals on the New York Yankees:
I’m not going to be irrational and say this team sucks, fire Cashman, etc. But there are some players who are war criminals and should be thrown in prison:
-Clint Frazier: Literally the worst defensive outfielder in the league, and does nothing at the plate to make up for it.
-Miguel Andújar: One of the worst route-running outfielders in the league, and outside of his 1.5 week hot stretch he has been roughly 80-100% worse than an average hitter.
-Tyler Wade: He’s so bad at hitting that he needs to be an absolute consistently good defender. He isn’t.
-James Taillon: His pitch repertoire is a fastball down the dick or a ball.
-Justin Wilson: I know he’s hurt but please don’t come back. You’re not better than anyone in the bullpen rn.
-Kyle Higashioka: He didn’t really do anything wrong, but he can’t catch Gerrit anymore because Gary is much better and we can’t put Gerrit in prison because he’s actually good at baseball. Sorry Kyle.

I've kept track of every move the Yankees made regarding their active (26/28 man) roster from Game 1 through Game 162. I've kept track of things like injuries, DFAs, times optioned, trades, etc. So a couple things to note before the list. I grouped ANY IL stint as one category, so COVID IL is grouped with the regular IL.
