A list of puns related to "List of Internet television providers"
I had been getting annoyed that my monthly Cox internet bill was slowly getting higher and higher. On a whim, I called them acting like I had the intention of cancelling my service. I was able to lower my monthly bill by 13 dollars and triple my download speeds. Best of all, my deal is locked in for 2 years WITH NO CONTRACT. So, I am still free to cancel any time with no penalty if I choose to. With this, and the recent cancellation of my satellite television plan, I'm feeling really good about the money I'm saving.
Some Tips:
Call with the intention of cancelling your service. Try to navigate the menu to get to the person who handles cancellations and/or plan downgrades. These reps will often have more power to offer you special deals.
Stay calm and be friendly. In my opinion, the reps are more likely to help you if you aren't yelling and screaming at them.
When asked why you are cancelling, state that it is because of cost. It may also help if you mention a deal for a competitor, as this shows that you have shopped around and are serious about cancelling.
If they do offer you a special rate, make sure that the new rate does not include a new service contract. Sure, you may get a cheaper rate, but if you decide to cancel before 1-2 years, you will have to pay a hefty cancellation fee.
My rep asked me if I wanted to cancel today or tomorrow. I think this may have been a test to see if I was serious about cancelling or not. I said today, and soon after he asked me some general questions about my internet usage and the system showed him that I was eligible for the discount. Risky move, but it worked for me.
Of course there is a risk that they will cancel your account without offering a special rate. In my experience, this has never happened, as I have also done this multiple times when I was still with my satellite provider, but I wanted to add the disclaimer that there is still a risk involved. Generally, however, companies would rather offer you a discount than lose you as a customer.
This will usually not work if you are still under a 1-2 year service contract. They know that you have to pay an early cancellation fee, therefore you lose your negotiating power.
Just wanted to share, as I'm feeling pretty good about this, and thought I could maybe help someone else lower their rates, while bragging about mine :).
Edit: I realize that there are many who live in areas with only one internet provider, so this tactic may

Some providers might list they have internet service for Kentwood, but many don't provide to my address. Where can I find a list of ISPs that provide internet to my address? I'm looking at about 30mbps download speed.
Comcast is really shady and won't let me downgrade my package to internet only, so I have to cancel my account.
Thanks!
Like the title suggests. My internet provider put a temporary suspension on our service because of a request made by blizzard, for some type of copyright dispute with a company in Poland. I was playing on a wotlk server that launched in February.
I know people suggest using vpns and all that stuff but I am just curious if this has happened to anyone else.
I have Spectrum internet. (Formally Time Warner Cable)
My fiancΓ© and I just moved into Fairmont Oaks Apartments this past month and have been wondering what internet and television providers everyone uses. I looked a bit into COX but they seem pretty expensive for there internet and tv bundles. Any information on what providers are in the area as well as which you personally prefer would be greatly appreciated!
Optimum has always given us problems with internet outages but the last two months has been awful. We're essentially paying for nothing with the amount of time we've gone without internet.
Is there a list of all the internet providers available in Westchester? Verizon is kind of a last ditch effort because they require in-wall drilling and device installation - our condo complex wouldn't allow it. Thanks for the help!
Just do it.

This bill was referred to the Senate Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation which will consider it before sending it to the Senate floor for consideration.

Hi everyone, which internet providers do you guys use? Are you happy with it? And how much do you pay a month? Iβm moving onto campus this fall and I just want to get an idea! Thanks!
Hello, itβs about what the title says.
May of last year, I canceled my ISP. I had to return the equipment, and they told me theyβd automatically charge me for it if I didnβt. I understood this as them taking it out of my bank account, but it meant charging it to the account I have with them.
Iβd have to drive an hour round trip to return the equipment. I was working 2 jobs, moving, and struggling with the pandemic so I just decided to eat the charge. I was making enough for the convenience of not having to deal with it to be worth it. I moved 3 months after that, but I didnβt see any bills sent to me regarding the charge during that time. I got two emails, but didnβt see them until recently. I had no idea I had a balance as I was under the impression they just automatically charged me, and I didnβt think to check (stupid, I know; pls withhold expressing any judgement as Iβve changed my ways since then, lol).
A month ago, I got a letter sent to my permanent home address regarding a bill for collections, but my credit score hadnβt been affected yet. I called my ISP and they told me that once they received the equipment, theyβd report it to the CRA and it wouldnβt affect my score. A week after that, I returned the equipment and asked, again, if it would affect my credit score still as it had already been sent to collections and I was confused. The representative told me that since the bill was settled, it would not.
A week later, my FICO score goes down 30 points for the now settled bill. I called to see why that was, a new representative lets me know that this is due to them having no control or sway in the situation once itβs sent to collections. Essentially, they canβt do anything and Iβd have to call the CRA myself to figure things out.
Is it worth it to call the CRA and see if they could help me out? My score is already not great from a previous medical bill, and now itβs about to go into the red. Any help would be appreciated! Thank you!
So, we have moved upstairs to suite M. I'm pretty excited about this, as we have 6 exam rooms now and the possibility of adding 3 more down the road.
After getting damn near 100 applications, and doing tons of interviews and shadow days, we selected our final candidate, who I want to introduce to you now:
Her name is Dayna and she's pretty great. Dayna graduated from her program with excellent grades, has board scores in the 98th percentile, and I think will be a spectacular addition to the practice. We searched hard to find some of the most brilliant applicants we could find.
Expect her to start in mid October. She will be shadowing Dr. Powers for awhile until she gets into the swing of things, and then will be seeing patients on her own with the consult/supervision of Dr. Powers. This will take considerable load off of the practice and allow us to better serve "acute" issues without delay and keep some of the more intense chronic things like HIV/HRT/Etc visits available for Dr. Powers. She is however undergoing complete training in Transgender HRT and HIV care. Eventually I expect her to be able to stand in place of me should I fall in battle.
Anyway, we really like her, and we think you will too! Here is a photo and her bio:
Dayna is a Family Nurse Practitioner certified through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Dayna has worked as a registered nurse on both a surgical and cardiac unit in the hospital setting and has clinical experience within Oakland University's nurse practitioner program in family medicine, internal medicine, pediatrics, and dermatology among other areas. She loves the primary care setting and being able to follow up with patients' health concerns over time. She plans to complete her AAHIVM HIV Specialist credentialing this coming year. Dayna enjoys spending time with her husband, their two cats, family, and friends, traveling, board games, bike rides, and skiing.
Once Dayna is fully on board, answering messages, responding to emails, doing refills, checking labs, and helping me see 1200 people who all need very complex management, I will finally have time to sleep. This will mean more time as well to work on V 7.0 and to be on reddit helping out here when I can.

My name is Dane Jasper (/u/danejasper), and I co-founded Sonic in 1994, at a time when many people hadnβt yet heard the terms βinternetβ, βemail addressβ or βWorld Wide Web.β Today, Sonic is the largest independent ISP in Northern California. As a 24-year industry veteran, I've seen a lot of change, but I remain committed to the concept of alternative competitive broadband access services, which is why I continue to fight for net neutrality.
Sonic firmly believes that internet providers should NOT be able to charge content creatorsβlike Netflix or CNETβmore money to stream their service, or have the ability to block others entirely. The internet should remain open and equal for all. Sonic will continue to do everything it can to stand up for net neutrality, whether the regulations require it or not.
Iβll be sticking around to answer your questions on net neutrality and whatβs at stake for you and everyone else who uses and loves the internet amid the FCCβs pending rollback of net neutrality regulations. Ask away!
