A list of puns related to "List of Everybody Hates Chris episodes"
Favorite: Everybody Hates Grezety, it was pretty cool seeing Chris and Drew trying to get Wayne Grezetyβs autograph.
Least Favorite: Everybody Hates Homecoming. The whole Bill Cosby scene just felt stupid to me, it would have been funnier if Chris met Will Smith and Phil in my opinion. The episode overall just felt boring.
Was watching Everybody Hates Chris (I haven't watched it through in half a decade) and noticed that one of the episodes--Everybody Hates the Gout--had some odd fade to blacks and ADR. I decided to look up the episode and it seems like they were attempting to censor scenes and dialogue about The Young and the Restless. For example they use the ADR line of Chris Rock saying "Soap Opera" again after about ten seconds. The oddest thing about is how inconsistent it is. After this scene there's another scene where they keep in one of the characters saying Young and the Restless, but fade to black before the rest of the scene where the characters talk about the show.
I was watching this episode just now on Fuse and noticed a couple scenes that were obviously filmed in Detroit sometime back in the 80s, as I quickly identified the unique streetlamps and the green street sign.
I was easily able to find the location for the first scene, which is 4646 Michigan Avenue (all of the buildings have long been demolished), but I'm not sure of the exact location for 2nd scene. I guess would be Magnolia and 30th street, which is right down the street from the Michigan Avenue scene.
Does anyone know where this footage originated from?
A link to the video with the scene is below (starts at 0:05).

I've looked everywhere, but cannot find it anywhere. Anyone know the name of this song?: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MSWgBedFtRk&feature=youtu.be It's when Chris is kicking ass in Asteroids. For some reason, this seems to featured only in the DVD version of the episode (I believe). Thanks in advance!
If you don't know Everybody Hates Chris is a sitcom about Chris Rock's childhood, particularly his teen years. He lives with his two siblings Drew and Tanya, his cheap father Julius, and his aggressive mother Rochelle.
The show has some of the funniest running gags I've ever seen, from the father's cheapness, the mother threatening to slap her kids into subspace, to nothing being able to go right for Chris.
Chris Rock is also very funny while narrating the whole thing
The point being, the show is absolutely hilarious and I'd recommend it to anyone

There's this scene in the sixth episode of the first season(Everybody Hates Halloween) where the principal finishes a speech about not casting terror on Halloween and then this rock type track starts playing that has an electric guitar lead of some sort. Anyone know what that song is?
I was watching Everybody Hates Chris not too long ago and started thinking about people who could probably pull off a show that entertaining.
Iβve watched Brilliant Idiots since the first episode (Star Shame Enterprise, still on YouTube for those who want to experience the start of it all), and bought Black Privilege when it came out a few years ago. After having reread through it recently and reflecting on a lot of the stories Charlamagne told on Brilliant Idiots, I really think he could create a show that could capture the essence and charm of Everybody Hates Chris.
Charlamagne has an amazing talent when it comes to storytelling and narrating, plus I feel like a lot of his social commentary could be better implemented and digested through him reflecting on his past via comedy, as opposed to a late night talk show.
I still support Charlamagneβs pursuit in late night television, but I also think his story of coming up all the way until he makes it to The Breakfast Club would make for a timeless classic.
I think Chris is the addition we have all been waiting for! I love Feits, his pornstar Leo talk had me in stitches but Chris always makes me laugh. I feel like heβs the devil advocates but is genuine about his opinions. Lifelong LCB BTMB and now, an official Chris stan π

That was 40 years ago. Time flies. I lived in Bed-Stuy in 1982.
Here me out: A fight between the two most comedic families from the 2000s:
Hal and Francis vs Julius
Lois vs Rochelle
Reese vs Drew
Malcolm vs Chris
Dewey vs Tonya
